Kieran Kodiak Falor

Character History

Before the Brotherhood

Kieran's actual birth place is still unknown to this day, the secret died along with his father; Dragorian Kodiak Falor. Kieran holds himself as a true Mandalorian despite his cloudy past. Kieran has right to this claim as his father was a great Mandalorian noble, he was born off-world, supposedly on the homeworld of his mother whom he has never met. Kieran's life was ordinary enough for the son of a noble, placed into the elite and strict training program at the first opportunity, like his father, he showed great promise. But before Kieran had reached the age of two his father was reported dead. Dragorian had been killed whilst returning to Dxun, his body was not recovered and when Kieran grew old enough to grasp the concept, his enquiries left him with nothing but a clip round the ear and a sense that not all was what it seemed.

Kieran was too young to remember his father greatly but he still feels the pain as though he had known him for years. Kieran focused on his training, eager to master the many lessons his clansmen would teach him about the art of war. Kieran was paired in a strong friendship with another orphan within the clan; Sashar Kodiak Entar.

The pair formed a strong friendship in their time on Dxun, excelling at every level in the trials and training that they underwent. Towards the end of their training Sashar vanished after a training mission, once again leaving Kieran alone. His clansmen shunned him for his unique abilities with the view that there was something wrong with the young Mandalorian. Kieran went on with his training, throwing himself harder at the challenges and concentrating on being the best.

After his final examination Kieran was confronted by his father's murderer. Dragorian had been killed by a training master under the orders of the current Mandalore. Kieran, enraged as he learnt that his father had been killed to stop him from taking his rightful place as Mandalore, killed the training master and the Mandalore in a fit of rage. He then fled Dxun, now hunted by his clan, and began life as a Bounty Hunter. Taking contract after contract in order to fund his system hopping evasion of his fellow clansmen who where forever close on his heels.

It was several years later when Sashar sought out Kieran. Sashar had realized that Kieran's unique talents were due to his force senstivity and sought to bring him into the Brotherhood.

The In-Between Years

The information concerning what Kieran did after he fled Dxun is ambigious to say the least. Information is collected from various sources indicated that he forged his way as a Bounty Hunter, it served him as an income to fund his flight as he was still being persued by his clan mates for his crimes. His reputation grew but under no name as he jumped from various false hunting licenses, he was simply known to his customers as 'that Mandalorian.'

It was on one such hunt that Kieran met a being that he found a kinship with that he hadn't felt since parting ways with Sashar. His friend was a Bounty Hunter by the name of Derik Loran. They happened to be going after the same mark at the same time, and when things turned sour, they had to rely on each other to get out. Kieran spent several years hunting with his friend using their ship The Dream Prowler as a base of operations, only occasionally parting ways.

It was one such time when the pair were apart that Sashar sought out Kieran to bring him into the Brotherhood. Kieran, now aware of his unique ability was both intrigued and apprehensive, apprehensive about settling down and joining an Alien group. However, the young Mandalorian felt confident that his childhood friend had found something where they could both thrive in, and perhaps give Kieran a new home, something he had been longing for for some time.

The Brotherhood

Kieran's training progressed well. He was able to use the knowledge he learned on Dxun to suppliment his training in the force and used his new force abilities to develop his already excellent skills as a soldier. Kieran immediately saw combat in the clan fued between Arcona and Taldryan, excelling and impressing the fellow members of Soulfire Strike Team. Kieran participated in the designing of the armour utilized today by the team as well as writing some of the tactics they utilize in combat. Since, he has become a valued and respected member, with his fellow brethren confident of his abillities on the battlefield.
