The Jen Kaari (Ancient Sith: Hidden Keepers) was officially formed as a training division, for the training of Dark Jedi in special operations tactics and intelligence gathering methods. However, ever since recent operations and tenuous reports of Jen Kaari activity, speculation has begun that this unit maintains and acts upon, a hidden agenda.

History

The Jen Kaari was formed on the order of Quaestor Anshar Kahn to provide a secure and challenging training regimen for promising, up and coming Dark Jedi whose actions and loyalty to Tarentum have gone beyond the regular rank and phyle. Initially under the direct supervision of the Quester, this select unit was founded with only two members; DJK Altheseus Levathan and GRD Malfurion. Due to the small number, both members often joined the Quaestor on missions and assignments in a supporting role. However after the events of the Horizon plague, it was decided that it was time for this unit to be expanded, in order to prepare House Tarentum for the inevitable upheaval and challenges that wait.

To this end, Altheseus Levathan was chosen as the first Commander of the Jen Kaari, with Malfurion as sub Commander, this decision was made due to Levathan’s seniority in rank, rather than any deficit in skill. However this decision has nonetheless caused a fair amount of friction between the two, as it can be said that they were essentially competing for the position of first commander ever since being inducted. Currently the unit is undergoing organization, requisitioning assets and recruitment. To that end, the Jen Kaari have recently acquired the use of the Vanguard class Heavy Gunship V/GSP Gladius.

-Rules

All members, including leadership, will submit to one or more major (DB wide) competitions per month or two minor (house/battle team) competitions per month. However if such competitions are not available, this requirement is rescinded.

Mandate

Public

• The Jen Kaari is an elite training unit, thus training promising prospects within Tarentum to a level of excellence in preparation for future special operations, intelligence gathering and refinement of Force techniques.

Oath

The oath upon final initiation may be rendered in the subject’s own words, as long as the oath contains the following:

• swear loyalty to the house and the seat of the Quaestor, not the Quaestor him/herself
• Swear that the interests of Tarentum will be foremost in all actions.

Any deviation of these oaths and any personal oaths they have sworn upon initiation will be met a stripping of deeds , achievement and awards. Furthermore, it is likely that the offending member will be summarily dismissed and they’re name will struck from Jen Kaari roster.

The following is only revealed to a member upon completion of psychological screening and induction into the Jen Karri Ranks.
