Fenris after he became blind

Fenris was a Dark Jedi during the time of the Dark Brotherhood Era. He was an apprentice to Shin'ichi, and took pride that he was gifted with such a master. He was also proud of the knowledge he had gathered. Early in his career, he had discovered a way to use Telekinesis, and perfectly blend it with Lightsaber Forms, becoming a Master of the Technique very rapidly.

Character History

The Perfect Child

On the world of Rattatak, Fenris began to grow. He wasn't like other Rattataki, his birth wasn't conventional. He was created in a lab, by a group of scientists trying to make the perfect Soldier, during a time of war, any edge was needed. His mind control abilities, which came natural to all Rattataki, were enhanced ten fold, thus making him able to control other Rattataki as well. His speed was also enhanced, as was his intelligence. As he grew up, he would outsmart even Commander's in the Rattataki Military. As Fenris grew older, his "father" enlisted his son into the Army, allowing for his skills to grow, and his anger to well up within himself.

Fenris hated his "father", knowing that he wasn't his real father, Fenris tormented him everyday after basic training. He would tell his father to do things, and when he refused, he would unleash a wave of mental energy on his mind, thus making him do the things that Fenris required. After 10 years of doing this, Fenris's "father" went insane, only to end up killing himself and his reputation.

After his "father" died, Fenris began to feel the calling of Galactic Civilization, something that not many Rattataki felt, and Fenris had decided to leave Rattatak at the age of 16. He was glad to leave his planet, a planet full of Gladiator battles and fighting amongst themselves, to go other places.

The Beginning of the End

As Fenris began to leave his world behind, he found that other creatures were not like him. He knew that everyone was unique, but he thought everyone else had his unique ability, the enhanced Mind Control capabilities that were given to him by his dead "father". He found that the closer to the Core Worlds he got, the easier it was to control minds, making it almost effortless to stay hidden.

Fenris was beginning to realize that not only was he going to have to get credits to fuel his desire for knowledge, but he also would need to find some way to enhance his body further. He found both of these working at a lab, that used test subjects as guinea pigs and tried to enhance their base abilities. When Fenris was finished, he had amassed a small fortune, and was now more intelligent and faster then he was before, thus increasing his mind control abilities. He was now, a sponge, thirsting for all knowledge of anything that would increase anything he had. He turned to the Mystic ways of the Force, hearing about it everywhere he went, he began to read about old Sith Lords who had long since died.

Fall from Grace

As Fenris began to learn more and more about the Dark Side, he became more and more intrigued with the power it contained. He learned of techniques, styles, powers beyond his wildest dreams, he found of a poison that Dark Siders had used, that once ingested, actually made you apart of the Dark Side. It was used on Ullic Qel-Droma, and Fenris had wished someone gave it to him.

During the twilight of his teen years, Fenris had gotten into some trouble within the Rattataki Society. He was a contract killer, being made into a weapon by his teachers, he was hired out to the highest bidder, and then sent to do the job. Eventually, the Rattataki of his Clan found out, and exiled him. Their honor code of the clan strictly prohibited things like that from happening, you could not become a murder, but instead must become a warrior. When Fenris realized what he had done, he tried to punish himself, taking refuge in a dark cave that had strange crystal formations within it. Fenris stayed there for a better part of a year, until he realized that the isolation must have been driving him insane, since he started to hear voices, and he thought they were coming from the actual crystals themselves.

Song of the Void

Joining the Dark Brotherhood

Fenris, fleeing from the crystal cave on Rattatak, took a shuttle to the Sepros system, where he had hoped to flee from his troubles and begin anew. On the planet he found that he could do anything but hide, for Clan Naga Sadow of the Brotherhood had embedded itself within the System, catching up any Force Sensitive that showed signs of interest and ability, Fenris had both those things, however slight they were. It wasn't long until he joined the ranks of Naga Sadow.

After his fall to the Dark Side, Fenris was then thrust into a battle including the Vong, something Fenris wasn't ready for, but would soon change his entire outlook on his clan. Before the battle, Fenris had looked towards his clan as shelter, hoping they could destroy anything that would try to harm him, mainly the voices he kept hearing. After the battle, which took a tremendous toll on Fenris, for he had little power compared to the Dark Side Incarnates that had fought in the battle. After the battle, he had looked at his Clan as a family, it had nursed him when he needed it, it had taught him when he required it, and it had provided him strength.

Fenris truly had changed, not just in his outlook, but in his emotional state and physical. After the battle, Fenris realized that his rage and mind were weak compared to what they could be, therefore he had a rage amplification device and mind enhancements put in, so he could be a wrecking ball when he became an Elder.

It was during this time when Fenris began to seed the foundations for his later life. He had grown close with many of the Journeyman's in the Clan, even Melding with them to create a powerful force to be reckoned with.

Enhancements

Mind Enhancements

Fenris has had numerous enhancements to his mind, not just altering his intelligence giving him a near genius IQ, but also for his natural Rattataki Mind Control abilities. Most of the enhancements weren't done by choice, he was forced into having them put in, mainly by his teachers and father.

Rage Amplification

After the Battle of Telos, Fenris had installed a Rage Amplificator, allowing him to enhance his rage, allowing him to focus more clearer and gain strength through Rage at any time. It has one drawback, which is that Fenris doesn't think as much as he should when he uses it.

Right Arm

Fenris's own right arm has been replaced with a Cybernetic arm. This one is actually not a cybernetic arm at all, it was an old Mandalorian War Droid part that Fenris had found and retrofitted to work as a cybernetic arm. He also has added many alterations to it, allowing him to set up comm channels, do thermal, infrared, and night vision scans, also allowing him to hear any sound or movement in the area. The Arm is directly linked to his ear, which allows for him to access the Comm Link and Sound Scans.

Weapons

Gift of Darkness

Fenris's Gift of Darkness

History

As a gift from his old Master, Ylith Atema, Fenris received what he called The Gift of Darkness. The sword was of a balanced design, making the perfect weapon for Fenris, complimenting his speed and power.

The sword went through a period of channeling with Fenris, allowing for the sword to be an extension of Fenris's anger. Fenris found it easier to wield the sword when he was angry, allowing for him to strike harder and faster. The sword seems to glow with a black aura, which leads Fenris to believe that his anger caused the aura, but he also treated it with alchemy, therefore it could've been his emotions or the alchemy treatment he gave it that produced the aura.

Fenris has wielded the blade ever since he received it, and wouldn't be caught dead without it.

Vonduun Shield

On the Battle of Telos, a fellow Journeyman named Vorion had the idea to take the chest plate of Vonduun Crab Armor that the Vong had and use it as shields. The plan worked like a charm, allowing for the Journeyman to block any attack that came at them, only price was that the Vonduun Crab Armor need a place to latch on, therefore causing immense pain to the wielder.

Fenris learned a way to use Telekinesis to fight opponents using his shield and sword. This not only negates the immense pain, but it also allows Fenris to move with more speed and less clumsiness. Fenris has dubbed the shield "Dark Gift" since he had to pay in blood to receive it's protection.

Specifics

  • The Sword has been treated with Alchemy
  • The blade itself has a black aura around it, Fenris isn't sure why this happened, he believes it was either his anger has tainted the metal so much that it radiates darkness, or it could be the alchemy having the black aura on it.
  • The handle fits perfectly in Fenris's own hands, but it feels awkward in most others, leaving him to believe that Ylith made it specially for him.
