Jagen Phoenix is a Protector, in the order of the Krath hailing from the House Tridens of Tarentum. Born on the planet Corellia, his family were in the business of smuglling, his training in this giving him very useful skills. despite the assosiation of smugglers being rough and dirty, Jagen prefers to remain clean, shaven, and orderly. Jagen is always searching for new ways to boost his house and clan, and strives to bring Tarentum the glory it deserves.

Jagen led a pretty easy life until the age of 13 when his brother deemed it was time for him to start his training as a smuggler. the mission was simple, Jagen, his father, and his brother were to smuggle a shipment of modified blasters to a buyer on Telos. upon arrival in the atmosphere, their ship was ambushed by a local gang who had been told about the shipment. the dispute quikly turned violent. Jagen's brother was lost in the fray, and Jagen was taken prisoner.

The gang soon sold Jagen to Giza the hutt upon arrival on Telos. He was to be made Giza's slave on Tatooine for the

remainder of his life. Jagen hated this work with all of his being, everday secretly plotting the death of his master. during his free time he constructed a plan involving the forging of a sword he would use as his weapon to kill the various guards, and his master as well. he used his free time, if any, to forge the sword and to scout for exit paths he could use. eventualy the time passed and his plan was fool proof, he was able to slay his master while he brought Giza his dinner. he used his precious weapon to slay the guards outide and made his escape.

Jagen loved this sword, he named it Fiyuu which translates to Freedom in the Human dialect variant, japanese. Jagen still keeps the sword in his possession today. though today the sword has been given some upgrades, icluding a cortosis lacing to stop lightsabers, and the kabuto-gane(or cap at the end of the handle) has been filled with a gelled form of kolto to heal minor cuts.

Elina, Jedi who first noticed Jagen's force potential

job at a fuel station on the outskirts of Nar Shadaa, Jagen met an interesting Jedi by the name of Elina. the two began discussing their lives for quite some time, the Jedi obviously interested in Jagen's sensitivity in the force. Elina decided to bring Jagen to the jedi enclave on Corouscant for training. when he was brought before the council however, they sensed his fear and anger and refused to train him.

Jagen's training didn't stop there though. he hid on the campus of the academy for a while, learning any and all he could about the force. though the process was very slow, hiding in the academy kept him safe from Giza's thugs. soon enough, Dark Jedi raiders found their way into the academy, while pillaging the academy they came across a sleeping Jagen. the Dark Jedi though they might have a little fun with the boy and began to harass him. Jagen was able to hold his own against one of the Dark Jedi and sensing his affinity for the force, decided to bring him to the Dark Brotherhood to be trained as a Dark Jedi.

Jagen Was inducted into the Brotherhood during a time of war between the Dark Jedi, and the Jedi led by Crask. Jagen started his training mid-war, and though he never fought along the frontlines, Jagen did play a noticeable role helping out his clan. after the war he was comemorated, being said that he -along with some of his friends- was 'baptized by fire', earning him three medals for his achevements.

After the fuss of the war was over, Jagen saw action in the Brotherhood come to quite a slow. he curently serves the House Tridens of Tarentum as a Krath Protector, and is studying in the Shadow Academy along with helping his clan. Always striving to grow in the force, and to bring glory to Tarentum.

Recently, Jagen has gained the rank of JH. with this promotion, he caught the eye of Sith Warrior Ji K'awiil, and the Warrior has decided to take the young padawan under his wing.

Character information

Jagen is a Human. Standing at 1.92 meters tall and weighing close to 185 pounds, he can be intimidating for some. He is somewhat slender and has a medium large build. Jagen wears his dark brown hair long and usually combed or thrown over to the side. He doesn't have any serious impediments, but can get a little... Over excited... At times. He is somewhat allergic to ewok hair, producing an itchy rash on the affected areas. Though this does not prevent his love of playing with them.

In combat Jagen likes to remain cool and collected, thinking himself as a good, up-and coming tactition. Defending and waiting for his opponent to make an opening. Though this is where his, over excited-ness, gets the better of him. If the battle lingers for too long Jagen can get over eager, thus making him rampant. He developes a need to play with his opponents, casting aside his own safety for the thrill of the battle. Making it very dangerous for himself, and those around him.
