Character History

The heat of roaring flames is cooled by the down pour of darkened rain. That's how it always goes, in my dreams, well more so of my memories. A complicated Journey to get to the Dark Jedi Brotherhood where I now stand, surrounded by other apprentices and their masters.

It all begins

Jade Imperial was from a planet that dreamt of life existing beyond their own species, as those that lived with them were not accepting. It was a planet that was full of diversity and riches… in a sense. Their material values were highly different than that of most other planets. The riches that they treasured on their planet (Such as gold) might have been worthless on other planets. There were things that they deemed worthless on their planet (Such as Lint) that may have been worth their weight in gold on others. This made interplanetary travel challenging for Jade, as the other Species and cultures may have held what she needed to use, or seek out when she was hungry.

Teen Years

When Jade was just entering into her teenage years a man had appeared, in what Jade had deemed then, out of thin air. What is now known is that he had been waiting for Jade hidden in a cloak. To this day Jade doesn't remember much about fighting to ward him away. But then again perhaps she had no chance, Jade could see that s.o.b. drugging her or using some sort of stunning device.

When Jade finally awoke, she found herself in a normal room. The room had a bed, a dresser, a desk, and several other items that would usually be found in a room. However, waking up in any strange place gives one the chills and -What Jade used to say back home- the creepy umpalumpa vibe. Not to mention the people she saw. But not knowing where the people came from, and being kidnapped, Jade tried to find an escape. The nearby window was a viable option, but when Jade examined closer, she found that the window was stuck, and that she was also on the third floor of whatever building she was in.

To Jade’s surprise, the door to the room was unlocked. When the door was opened, Jade noticed that the hallway was entirely metal. Recalling her memories, the only things that were similar, were things called submarines (Underwater boats), hidden military bases, or ewers.

As Jade made her way through the hallway, she came upon a fairly tall boy (whom Jade later found out was named Jep) that was a little older than her who was surprised to see Jade out of the room. The boy informed her that his parents were out at the moment, and when asked, said nothing about how to escape. Jade also tried to tell the boy that she thought the boy’s father kidnapped her, but the boy didn’t believe him, only saying that it was impossible.

Imperial continued searching the house for an exit, as she had no intention of remaining while the parents were out. But all in vain, because every door she tried either was, or lead to a supply closet.

After five days or fighting with the people, Jade gave up on everything, escape, finding a reason, even eating. But Jade needed other things to keep her going. And yet, she was one of the lucky ones on her planet. People he knew told myths and legends about having to eat the life force of three adults.

Soon after Jade stopped eating, the family that had her contacted the man that originally stole him (This was unbeknownst to Imperial, as he came as a medic, and Jade never saw his face.) to have him find out what was wrong with her. But he did not do it willingly, for he forced the family to pay him. Jade later “Adopted” this family as her own, and they came to trust her gradually.

The Girl and the Anzati Half-Breed

Jade soon made a friend in this new world whom she came to hang around quite often. This new friend took Jade into the world, and helped her with several things. She helped her learn about the many cultures around there, and showed her where she could hide when the “Troops” came around. Jade later came to know these shiny white armored Cretans as Storm troopers. Every time Jade looks upon a storm trooper, she has to laugh, as she recalls one event where the girl wanted to show her this building that they had to break into. When she did this, she showed Jade the fine art of security code-breaking and entering a quieted building. She did do a good job as no alarms were tripped, but a bystander outside must have seen, because the storm troopers showed up with the intent of stopping the trespassers. The reason Jade laughs is because the troopers told them to freeze, and like any good deviant, they ran. To escape them, Jade and her cohort hid behind boxes, around corners, and finally made their escape by sliding between the legs of the troopers guarding the door, and out into the street.

The girl once took Jade on a space trip. This was new to Jade, and it both excited and scared her. The girl’s father was supposed to be the pilot, whom Jade had never met before because he was usually out somewhere. As the planet they were on got smaller and smaller Jade realized this was more then just an outing to see the world itself, and began to wonder if she had been kidnapped again. Jade was also secretly hoping they were going to take her back to her real home. Keeping her away from the cock pit, Jade got to see out of a front port, if you will, and saw her adoptive family's ship following them. Problem was they weren't following for long, and the S.O.B. pilot shot them down DOA. Jade can still recall the feeling of the hot flames of the ship licking her skin and burning her from the inside-out as she watched the fireball explode and fade back into the blackness of space.

When Jade and the rest of them landed on another planet, the girl explained to Jade that her dad was the man who originally took her from her home planet. Jade went ballistic, but even more so when the girl told her that it had been a part of the s.o.b.’s plan for them to become friends, but when she confessed everything she admitted that she regretted it. Apparently since they were so close the man decided to take Jade and make her his daughter instead. Unfortunately for them, Jade wasn’t going to go complacently. The girl was left in the rain with several injuries.

The girl’s dad was not very keen on that, even though his daughter was not injured severely or killed. He swore to gain vengeance on Jade Imperial after that.

Entering the Brotherhood

After leaving the girl wounded, Jade wandered aimlessly through the rain hoping to come upon someone whose life force she could feed off. She came upon someone in an alley who beckoned Jade towards him, but she brushed him off and started to walk the other way. But as she turned, she suddenly found herself floating in the air going towards him. Jade made a comment here about him sweeping her off her feet. Anyways, when she was finally close enough to talk over the pounding rain she was back on her own two feet.

Her hair was drenched, clothes soaking through, and the rain landing on her eye lashes made it so her eyes were constantly blinking. She really felt like she needed to evolve and grow some gills! Meanwhile, while she was standing in front of him looking like a drowned rat, he was perfectly dry, as if an invisible umbrella hung over his head. He told her of a group that could teach her how to use her powers to their full potential and learn new tricks. Said he could feel my emotions were high and strong, perfect for learning.

Power, what an alluring concept, he said that he could feel her emotions… Not knowing much of the force at this point, Jade struggled to get free and then ran into the nearest building. When she turned, the man who held her in mid air was gone. Filled with a sense of pride of escaping the man, she started to feel somewhat powerful. She walked outside to see that the rain still suited her mood. She began to wonder if perhaps that the rain was her doing. That when the man spoke of power, he was talking about some inner-power she possessed. When she looked back down the alley that she had just come from, the man was standing there again. His cape fluttering about in the rain, Jade stood there for some time before finally walking over to talk to him again.

The told her all about the group again, pretty much the same spiel as before, but he never told her the name or location of it, or what it really stood for. This made Jade worry that he would take her to some place and end up trying to kill her. Notice how the word “Try” was used here. Jade still had her little secret. In fact her little secret about being a half breed is somewhat hidden from the Dark Brotherhood and should never be discussed outside of this biography.

The man finally convinced Jade to enter the Brotherhood, where she planned on drifting into the unnoticed so she could learn more about the power that was promised to her. But it was not before long that she desired even more power, and obtained a master known as Macron to teach her. So far, she remains there learning about the dark side.
