History

In 36 ABY, Alaris Jinn returned from the Galactic Alliance Senate for the final time. Following the Horizons Crisis, Plagueis apparently ceased to exist. What is in truth is that Plagueis survived and rebuilt itself to strike from the shadows. Its location only known to the Grand Master, Deputy Grand Master, Justicar, and select members of the Dark Council meant that Plagueis could act decisively and with nearly no chance of any retaliation against them.

To this end, Alaris Jinn brought together a group of Plagueians and developed Battleteam Ajunta Pall. Never one known for subtlety in his quest to stamp out what he sees as corruption, the Obelisk was given the task by Tra’an Reith to act as the warbringer of Plagueis. Alaris, and BT Ajunta Pall by extension, were quickly sent out on missions to capture slaves and pillage supplies for the House as a whole. Whenever direct action was needed, Ajunta Pall would be the immediate go to for the House Summit.

Lore

Jinn chose the first Dark Lord of the Sith through careful thought. Other possibilities for the name included Andeddu, Tenebrous, and Bane. He finally settled on Ajunta Pall after careful study of the Sith Lord’s history. Though Ajunta Pall was inevitably “redeemed” by the traitor Revan, he led the Dark Jedi exiles to Korriban and took the first mantle of Sith Lord. Though hardly the first practitioner of the Dark Side of the Force, the philosophy of the Sith came from his initial teachings and leadership.

The tragedy that is Ajunta Pall should be carefully studied and examined. Alaris decided to not focus on Pall’s apparent “redemption,” but instead to learn from it. That one should never lose one’s focus and sanity in dealing with the Dark Side of the Force, may it be one’s eventual downfall.

Unit Speciality

Ajunta Pall’s forces are lead by its Dark Jedi members the same way the Sith led the Imperial Military during the Great Galactic War. The Dark Jedi, at the rank of Dark Jedi Knight, are referred to as My Lord by any non-Force Users.

By and large, the Dark Jedi of Ajunta Pall are used predominantly as the “shock-troopers” of the Battleteam and theoretically are used sparingly during combat. In practice, however, given the aggressive nature of most Dark Jedi, specifically those in Ajunta Pall, these Dark Jedi will most often be found on the front lines of any battle.

Base Of Operations - BAC Terminus

Ajunta Pall's deadly and forceful nature in combat made the selection of a central operations center an easy decision. Even with the lack of a truly fortified land-based option, the selection of the BAC Terminus was one that seemed very natural for Alaris. Controlling all operations from an assault cruiser allows Ajunta Pall to continue from target to target, mission to mission as they wreak havoc across the galaxy without having to return to a fixed, central location as they move on.

Comprised of dozens of decks, the Terminus has been retrofitted to accommodate it’s nature as a base of operations for Ajunta Pall. During the retrofit, the Terminus was largely made to accommodate more comfortable living areas, but in true Ajunta Pall fashion, very little military capability was sacrificed. With the remodel of the ships living areas, the Terminus could comfortably maintain its operations without returning to space port.
