Character History

Early Life

Hevan Slavis was born on Tatooine, a outer rim planet in 2 BBY. His father was a moisture farmer on the planets northern deserts, often taking the young Hevan with him, teaching him how to hunt in the planets endless deserts. His mother stayed at home, teaching Hevan how to shoot a rifle at a young age. As a result of the planets postition, news of the Galactic Civil War rarely reached the village, with even large events such as the destruction of the Death Star only reaching them 2 years after it happened.

Changing life

Tusken terror attacks

Due to the low levels of Imperial control, Tusken raids were fairly common to hear, the sound of slugthrowers echoing across the boundless sands. Upon a attack on his farm, Hevan and his mother ran into the nearby canyons, hiding in a old hut that was long abandoned. After a week of hiding, nearly dying of thirst, the two returned to their homestead. There lay the mutilated body of Hevan's father, dried and scarred by a combination of Tusken knives and the planet's winds. Hevan was forced to bury his own father while his mother prepared to travel to the nearest space port.

Ambush

Tuskens had destroyed the family speeder, but Hevan's mother knew they couldn't stay on the farm, knowing Tuskens would return. They packed to leave, deciding to try and hitch a ride on a sandcrawler next time they saw one. They set out overnight, but Hevan's mother never saw the light of day again. An attack in the night slew her, leaving Hevan alone in the canyons of the sand planet. He grabbed her blaster before fleeing into the night
