Early Life

Hevan Slavis was born on REDACTED, a REDACTED rim planet in 2 BBY. His REDACTED was a REDACTED on the planets northern deserts, often taking the young Hevan with him, teaching him how to hunt in the planets parching deserts. His REDACTED stayed at home, preforming maintenance on REDACTED and teaching Hevan how to shoot a blaster rifle at a young age. As a result of the planets position, news of the REDACTED rarely reached the village, with even large events such as the destruction of the REDACTED only reaching them REDACTED years after it happened.

Changing life

Escape

Due to the low levels of Imperial control, REDACTED raids were fairly common, the sounds of REDACTED echoing across the sands. Upon a attack on his farm, Hevan and his mother ran into the nearby canyons, hiding in a REDACTED that was long abandoned. After a week of hiding, nearly dying of thirst, the two returned to their homestead. There lay the mutilated body of REDACTED, dried and scarred by a combination of REDACTED knives and the planet's winds. Hevan was forced to bury his own REDACTED while his REDACTED prepared to travel to the nearest space port.

Ambush

REDACTED had destroyed the family speeder, but Hevan's REDACTED knew they couldn't stay on the farm, knowing REDACTED would return in greater numbers. They packed to leave, deciding to try and hitch a ride on a REDACTED next time they saw one. They set out overnight, but Hevan's REDACTED never saw the light of day again. An attack in the night slew her, leaving Hevan alone in the canyons of the sand planet. He grabbed her blaster before fleeing into the night, REDACTED calls echoing all night throughout the endless deserts. It was in these deserts that Hevan was found by a REDACTED, and was able to secure a ride to REDACTED.

Enlisting

From here, he stowed away on board a freighter heading towards REDACTED. Once there, he was able to secure passage to REDACTED, where he joined the REDACTED, and began training as a REDACTED. This training included REDACTED, REDACTED fighting styles, long range REDACTED and stealth. After REDACTED years, TuQ'uan Varrick found the now veteran Hevan after a REDACTED failed to achieve REDACTED, impressed by his skill with a blaster and REDACTED. He offered Hevan a trial to join Clan Plagueis, a offer that Hevan accepted without question.
