Estle city is the political, cultural and religious centre of the Dajorra system and its inhabitants. By far the largest city in the system, it houses approximately half the planet’s native population and as such presents massive tactical advantage to whoever holds it. Put simply, whoever controls Estle City controls Dajorra.
Points of Interest
Beyond the City Walls, which ring the boundaries of the capital and provide an excellent set of hardpoints consisting of Turbolaser towers and a myriad of SAM sites, the only real buildings to draw significant amounts of attention are the various Castes’ respective Temples.
The Capac Caste’s Temple acts as a registry office for conscripts to report to when they reach the requisite age to serve and also keeps much of the rest of the populance informed on the goings of the military deployment, easing unease caused by natives being deployed far from home.
The Huascar Caste’s Temple is multifunctional, as it acts as a centre of learning for the people of Selen, teaching the inhabitants of all ages, from pre-school through to university level and also possesses the largest Medical facility in the system. The Huascar Temple is a sprawling building that reaches high into the skyline, and thus affords itself its own small landing facility near the roof so medical transports can easily take off and land.
The Sinchi Caste Temple manages all commerce to and from Estle. Essentially a huge mall/inner city district, the name Temple doesn’t strictly apply other than to denote that the majority of the Caste’s denizens congregate here daily, especially in the open market.
The Church of the Abyssal Order is the final notable location within the walls of Estle and daily the entire populace congregate here in reverence to the Consul. It is during these daily prayer sessions that important news is distributed and also many judicial proceedings take place. The Church itself is a huge construct that towers over the rest of Estle.
Also of note is the Giletta Spaceport which, whilst being a separate facility in itself, is also attached to Estle City.
