Eli Denan; Eli Denan al'Tor, Denan, or simply Eli is a human male from the planet Nythas. Known through many sectors as a career scoundrel, smuggler, and general trickster by trade, Eli has carved a living through his opportunistic personality and well-honed drive. Originally birthed from a historically noble family in Va'lence, the Denan family fell to misfortune several generations prior to his birth. Eli first came into contact with the Dark Jedi Brotherhood by way of his association with Drodik Va'lence al'Tor, a Nagaian ally, compatriot and employer in the wine and smuggling operations in the formers youth. Owing to a mystrious debt, Eli has set out to investigate the disappearance of his former ally after the Nagai became missing in action in 37 ABY.
Characteristics
Physical Description
A 34 year old human from Nythaspir, Eli is both handsome of appearance and character Standing at five feet and ten inches, he weighs in at around one hundred an seventy five pounds and is otherwise seen as an athletic and lean figure.
A dark haired human male, Eli possesses a penetrating gaze of dark brown eyes, broad forehead and sloping brow. His jawline and chin both run strong and firm whilst a tuft of facial hair in the form of a stylized goatee. Eli sports a cut of hair shorter on the sides but slicked back at about necklines length.
His handsome features, cool demeanor and well developed voice have given Eli a natural advantage in the charismatic arenas benefiting him and his sly station.
A healthy diet and otherwise clean living (aside from substance abuse) augmented by grueling regimental exercises and advanced training have awarded him a lean athletic build capable of formidable strength, endurance, and heightened dexterity.
Equipment
Weapons
- Modified DL-18- Eli's primary sidearm, this battered weapon is favored by the smuggler for its modified weight distribution, range, and augmented power discharge at the expense of little recoil. This pistol has been in the service of Denan since 24 ABY.
- Modified DC-15S Blaster Carbine- Serving as his rifle during longer range combat situations, this relic from the Clone Wars still finds its edge in the hands of the smuggler which, as in the case of the aformentioned pistol, has been modified likewise to make its function relevant to modern day standards of combat.
Vessels
- The Epsilon Left in the care of Eli by Drodik prior to his rejoining the Brotherhood, the Epsilon has served as a primary ship since the destruction of Eli's former freighter, The Riptide. A smaller vessel with fewer armaments and hull space than what Denan is accustomed to, the Epsilon is slated to undergo advanced renovation pending funds from a job on Nal Hutta.

- As a non-traditional variant approach to the primary character concept in the DB, Eli is as such a non-force sensitive human.
- Created following the decision to shelve the character Drodik Va'lence al'Tor, Eli's backstory will function as a parallel to the former.
