The Banner of Water (or whatever it was officially called) was made to help objects withstand the marine elements that House Tarentum seemed famous for, living on the watery world of Yridia II.
(Note: Still searching for the official description of it from Kaiann; haven't been able to find it yet. But I did find the news post about it in the July 2005 archives on the site. -Bloodfyre)
