That "Getting Started" page isnt very good, it doesnt say *how* you creat a character page, just what to do in it. Can someone explain to me the step by step way of doing it, please?

- Ash

The easiest way to start a new page is to just type it in the address. For example, let's say you want to make a character page for Tusken. All you would need to do to generate a new page would be to type http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/wiki/index.php?title=Tusken in the address bar. From there it presents you with the option to edit that page which you can also get to directly by typing in http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/wiki/index.php?title=Tusken&action=edit. Hopefully, that makes sense. Since you mentioned that the getting started section tells you what you put in the article, I assume you know what to do from there.

Thanks Rekio, I knew it had to have been something as that. :D

User Name

I renamed your original account to Ashura Isradia due to the naming policy on Wiki accounts. You're required to use your DB name or a name you're known by. I asked around and nobody on IRC knew who Tusken was, so I changed your name to Ashura Isradia, please use it to login. --Retoru 15:09, 30 September 2006 (Mountain Daylight Time)

Ahhhhhhh.... I was wondering why it wasnt working. Cool, the rules are the rules. Thanks again Rekoi. (Although I did like the Tusken user name. Heh)

I'm not Rekio, I'm Retoru. Also known as Kromtal Stormfyld. I copied all the user talk stuff from the Tusken page to here and set up a redirect so you would still be able to find all your old user talk items. --Retoru 02:33, 1 October 2006 (Mountain Daylight Time)

Oops!!! Thanks for that. :)

Show Preview & Planning

I've noticed a few dozen changes (actually 48) from you on the same article in the last day. Please utilize the Show Preview button. The feature is very useful in showing you how the page will look before you save your changes. It can be found directly next to the Save Page button.

If it is a matter of just thinking of more to add, please try to plan ahead and make one huge edit instead of several small ones. Throughout the day, write down all that you want to edit, then come to the page to do all the changes.

Everyone's done that at some point - even me. That's why you get a polite reminder first.

Cheers Kaine. That's something to remember, wasnt aware of that until now.

Thanx

I couldn't figure out how to remove the User tagline, but did now. now the fun begins on adding info, and other info.

can you tell me how to resize a pic once in the files or even how to edit my uploaded files.

JA/JO

have you ever tried if a laptop with one of sticks in the middle of the keyboard might work? you could reprogram all the keys to be around that, and thus need only one hand to control both mouse and keyboard simultaneously.--Korras 23:09, 25 July 2007 (MDT)

Hmmmmmm... Interesting. No, I havent, probably because the main reason being is that I dont play JA/JO that much, heh, so I am not a super serious gamer. End of the day, in gaming nights, I still get some CF's, and that is cool.

How it work Korras, is that while my right hand is either using the mouse or the keyboard (arrow keys and Ctrl), my stump (or big thumb as it is also known :P) presses jump and crouch, so its all not confined to my right hand. It is like how I write, I use both my right hand and "big thumb" to type with. I wouldnt know any difference due to the fact I was born without a left hand, and didnt loss it (which I am sure would be more harder for someone else trying to game).--Ashura 08:55, 26 July 2007 (GMT)
