Imgormiel was a Dark Jedi Knight in House Ludo Kressh of Clan Naga Sadow and the apprentice of Malisane de Ath. He joined the Dark Brotherhood in 26 ABY and rose slowly, but steadily, through the journeyman ranks under Malisane's tutelage, first on Aeotheran and later on Kangaras.

He gained a bizarre notoriety among his fellow Clan members as a Jedi Hunter in late 27 ABY during the Vong Incursion, when a small force of Vong attacked Kangaras. Along with Severak, he defended Usharak Keep successfully by fighting and summoning the assistance of High Chief Urtarg and the Sith-spawned Ewoks. These new allies helped him first destroy the Vong, and then drive off Severak.

For his valiant actions he received his lightsaber and promotion to Dark Jedi Knight. He lived permanently on Kangaras, where he maintained Usharak Keep in the absence of the Prefect, and held a rank of Commander in the Dlarit Special Operations Group.

Imgormiel had a quiet, reserved type of personality, but was none the less fearless in combat. He had been taken on many treks through the wilds of Kangaras, along with the Ewoks and his master, fighting against the various aggressive wildlife that roams its surface, where he performed excellently.

However, the relationship between master and student was strained during the Clan's activities on Selen, where Imgormiel disobeyed Malisane in rushing to the rescue of the wounded Overlord. Later, en route to Lehon when Battlelord Agrist wanted information about Malisane's activities, the mercenary drugged the Zabrak and interrogated him. For this, Malisane lured him to a storage room and killed him.
