Zolar Sistros is the founder of Sistros Acquisitions and Holdings, and a sworn enemy of Clan Plagueis. Originally a prodigy on the planet of Odryn, he was banished after committing murder. Discovering his love of the criminal life, he founded Sistros, and built it into a well rounded company.

When Clan Plagueis arrived in the Jusadih System, however, they drove him out. Angered, he vowed to destroy Clan Plagueis and regain his business.

History

Childhood

Zolar Sistros was born on the planet Odryn to X'lor and Zena Sistros. As his father was the Duke of Cylaatr, a continent on Odryn, the two were enlightened to have a child, and spoiled him tremendously. They also taught him all the basics of politics, as well as how to pilot a ship.

At the age of fifteen, a group of pirates raided Zolar's hometown. In the midst of the scramble for safety, his parents were killed, and Zolar was captured. Over the next five years, he lived with the pirates, convincing them to let him join their group rather than kill him.

At first, his plea had only been in an effort to survive, but over time he started to enjoy the life of a criminal. He learned the tools of the trade, and even started to gain prestige within not only the group but the galaxy as a whole. He forgot about his true goal of returning to him homeworld, and instead focused on slowly building his own pirate group.

Due to the fact that he had been spoiled as a child, he started to crave more and more power. One day, just after his nineteenth birthday, Zolar escaped from the care of the pirates when a raid went wrong. While fighting with his brethren to escape the failed mission, a rocket blew up right near him, destroying his right leg. Knowing he would not survive if he continued to fight, he fled the battle, leaving his brothers to deal with themselves. A few months later, and with a new cybernetic right leg, he returned to the severely weakened survivors and oftened them a chance to join him. Most of them agreed, knowing not only how strong he was, but also how smart he was. The pirate leader defied him, however, and Zolar gracefully stabbed him through the heart, convincing the remainder of them to join him.

Founding of An Empire

Main article: Sistros History

At the mere age of twenty, Zolar Sistros founded Sistros Smuggling as a small smuggling operation. Despite the fact that he already had a decent work force and prestige, he was still nothing compared to other companies like Black Sun. As such, he started off doing small jobs here and there, gradually making a name for not only himself but for his company.

In order to keep out of jail, Zolar split his company, the legal side becoming Sistros Acquisitions and Holdings.

Eventually, his company grew larger and larger, coming in contact with Desilijic Tiure's Criminal Empire, Black Sun, and others, and using them to grow ever larger. During the Clone Wars and Galactic Civil War, he played both sides to earn a greater profit. It worked out perfectly, and he continued to grow richer and richer.

When the New Republic was formed, though, they quickly traced the source of the Empire's funds to Zolar. Learning of the backstabbing, they set off to shut down his business, as well as arrest him. Knowing there was no escape, he split his company into two separate businesses, the latter Sistros Acquisitions and Holdings, a perfectly legal equity firm. He watched as the New Republic seized Sistros Smuggling, and after absorbing a large sum of its wealth, dissolved it.

Left with a poor company that was forced to stay legal, he sold 70% of it to earn some income, and then moved to the Jusadih System and started to slowly rebuild. Here, he started to sign subsidiary contracts with several large scale companies, and over time he started to regain his wealth.

Crimson Tide

In 24 ABY, a group of Dark Jedi known as Clan Plagueis moved into the Jusadih System, claiming it as their new home. Zolar objected, claiming he controlled the system, but they wouldn't have any of it. They quickly threw him out, taking control of him company for their own profit.

Furiated, Zolar fled the system with what money he still had. Currently, he roams the galaxy, looking for some way of gaining revenge on Clan Plagueis and reclaiming his business.

It was during this time that he came upon the weakened group of pirates known as the Crimson Tide. He learned of their conflict with Clan Plagueis, and how they had all but destroyed them. Their leader, Calliban Crimson, gladly accepted Zolar into his ranks, making good use of his wealth to buy armor and weapons as they slowly preparing to have their vengeance.
