The Frelos system is a binary star system composed of seven planets, two moons and two named asteroid fields. It is located within the Outer Rim Territories and is a major player along the Corellian Trade Spine due to its major industrial output. The Dalicron Excavation Conglomerate own a large share of the planetary surface within the system, although independent governments work alongside them.

Stellar Bodies

Frelos A

Main article: Frelos A

Frelos A is the primary star of the Frelos system, classed as a B6V-type main sequence star with an effective temperature of 14,500 K (14,227°C) and an estimated age of 262 million years. Frelos A is orbited by five planets and no major entity claims dominion over the star or system.

Frelos B

Main article: Frelos B

Frelos B is the secondary star of the Frelos system, classed as a B8V-type main sequence star with an effective temperature of 12,300 K (12,026°C) and an estimated age of 262 million years. Frelos B is orbited by two planets and no major entity claims dominion over the star or system.

Orbits

Frelos A

Trexxa

Main article: Trexxa
  • Type: Ocean
  • Environment: Type-I
  • Distance: 217 million km
  • Orbital Period: 620 standard days
  • Rotation Period: 18 standard hours
  • Diameter: 32,966 km
  • Gravity: 1.2G
  • Temperature: 301K (28°C)
  • Population: ± 500 million
  • Moons: None

Trexxa is an azure blue coloured ocean world planet. It is a heavily industrialised planet, producing and exporting hydrogen, tritium and deuterium for use in starship engines. The planet was freed from a near enslavement type of living after the Fall of the Empire. An almost land-mass free planet, the entire population lives on planets raised high above sea level.

Boran

Main article: Boran
  • Type: Gas giant
  • Environment: Type-III
  • Distance: 341 million km
  • Orbital Period: 699 standard days
  • Rotation Period: 12 standard hours
  • Diameter: 48,251 km
  • Gravity: 3.1G
  • Temperature: 280K (7°C)
  • Population: 217 million
  • Moons: None

Boran is a light grey / red coloured Gas Giant. Similarly industrialised to Trexxa, Boran is used as an eleton blaster gas production facility due to the large clouds of eleton gas spread around the atmosphere. Despite having a Type-III environment, a non-labour orientated populace still resides on the planet due to its man-made biome floating cities.

Helus

  • Type: Lava
  • Environment: Type-IV
  • Distance: 82 million km
  • Orbital Period: 375 standard days
  • Rotation Period: 5 standard hours
  • Diameter: 2913 km
  • Gravity: 2.0G
  • Temperature: 610K (330°C)
  • Population: None
  • Moons: None

Helus boasts a fiery-red planetary surface as a lava planet. It is highly dangerous due to the horrific surface temperature and toxic atmosphere. Due to this and having no major resources, it has always been uninhabited.

Krola

  • Type: Silicate
  • Environment: Type-II
  • Distance: 112 million km
  • Orbital Period: 450 standard days
  • Rotation Period: 8 standard hours
  • Diameter: 4916 km
  • Gravity: 1.8G
  • Temperature: 540K (267°C)
  • Population: None
  • Moons: Krola-1

Krola is a silicate planet with an almost purple-black look to it. Similarly to Helus, due to its close proximity to Frelos A, the surface temperature and lack of viable living conditions, it has always been uninhabited.

Krola is orbited by Krola-1, an indistinctive moon with nothing of note.

Serund

  • Type: Terrestrial
  • Environment: Type-3
  • Distance: 157 million km
  • Orbital Period: 520 standard days
  • Rotation Period: 23 standard hours
  • Diameter: 6691 km
  • Gravity: 1.2G
  • Temperature: 401K (128°C)
  • Population: None
  • Moons: Serund-1

Serund is a rocky planet with a very high average temperature and a harsh atmosphere with no known inhabitants.

Serund-1 orbits Serund. In the past, it housed an Imperial space dock and barracks training facility that acted as the base of military operations for the Frelos system. Nowadays, this facility is abandoned, and whilst it has been stripped of anything of value, it still could be used as a functional headquarters for those that would want to utilise it as one.

Frelos B

Lapise

Main article: Lapise
  • Type: Earth analog
  • Environment: Type-I
  • Distance: 118 million km
  • Orbital Period: 387 standard days
  • Rotation Period: 25 standard hours
  • Diameter: 12,742 km
  • Gravity: 1G
  • Temperature: 288K (15°C)
  • Population: 17 million
  • Moons: None

Lapise is a near idyllic planet for habitation. Boasting an average surface temperature of 15°C and a generous atmosphere, the planet is rich in flora, fauna and a wealthy population. Lapise previously served as a luxurious holiday location for Imperial officers and their guests.

Elis

  • Type: Desert
  • Environment: Type-IV
  • Distance: 161 million km
  • Orbital Period: 480 standard days
  • Rotation Period: 38 standard hours
  • Diameter: 4152 km
  • Gravity: 1.4G
  • Temperature: 550K (277°C)
  • Population: None
  • Moons: None

Elis is a barren desert planet with an extremely high average surface temperature. Little known exploration has occurred on the planet, although permanent habitation has been ruled out by experts.

History

The Frelos system has a short history to the outside world. Since the primary occupation of the Galactic Empire however, the system has become more and more known throughout the Galaxy as an industrial powerhouse and a key to power in the region.

This however, has not been capitalised on by any major collective since the fall of the Galactic Empire, and since then has been solely controlled by the Dalicron Excavation Conglomerate, a private company with little political ties.
