Apperance
Ryben has an average, well toned build. His hair is dark brown and his eyes are blue. He keeps his hair in a short fauxhawk.
Ryben wears a charcoal colored pants and a charcoal colored tunic. He wears charcoal colored, rancor leather boots. Tosh also wears two black wrist guards made of Zillo Beast skin.
Ryben has a Relby-K23 blaster holstered in a black rancor leather holster on his right hip. He has a SoroSuub ELG-3A in an ankle holster hidden by his pants leg. Tosh often has his SoroSuub X-45 slung over one shoulder in order to quickly remove it, either to fire or to discard it during a hand-to-hand fight or close range battle.
History
Early Life
Ryben was born on Eldar in 10 ABY. His mother died during child birth leaving his father to raise him alone. His father served as a low ranking officer in the military and would often have to leave Ryben with his grandparents while he was deployed. His father was a harsh man and believed in stern discipline.
During 19 ABY, a new faction came to the Dajorra System and took over the military. While many military officers felt that the new leadership was tyrants, Ryben’s father embraced the change. He felt that the military had become weak and needed to be brought under a firm grasp. Tosh’s father was promoted to take charge of his unit, when his commanding officer was killed because he spoke out against the new leadership. This meant that he was away more often
In 24 ABY, Ryben’s father was stationed on Selen. Tosh was left alone for long periods of time and learned to take care of himself.
Life Before the Brotherhood
Tosh enrolled in the Dajorra’s Officer Academy in 26 ABY. He excelled at the academy and quickly became a squad leader.
His father’s unit was completely decimated during the Yuuzhan Vong War. Ryben was infuriated by his father’s death, but remained in the Academy because he felt it was what his father would like. He excelled at all courses and graduated as the Cadet Commander of the Academy in 29 ABY.
Tosh excelled at marksmanship, but showed a lot of promise in hand-to-hand combat also. He also excelled at sabotage and reconnaissance. For those reasons he was stationed with the Eldarian Rangers. He served as a sniper/recon specialist until he was discovered in 33 ABY by Marick Del`Abbot to be a force sensitive and was recruited into the Dark Jedi Brotherhood.
Personality
Ryben is extremely ambitious and is willing to do anything to get ahead. He is an over achiever and can't say no to a superior officer. In battle he has no fear or insubordination. Tosh is extremely competitive and can sometimes be blinded with his desire to be the best. Ryben is extremely loyal to his battleteam and brothers. He has an easy going attitude and believes in developing a close relationship with his comrades. To his enemies he is cold and he speaks down to them
