Antenora is the home planet of House Acclivis Draco.
Points of Interest
House Headquarters
House Acclivis Draco built their home at the end a large ravine in the main equatorial mountain range, with great natural defences in the mountains. Detailed info will follow.
Valley of Silence
This naturally carved Valley is one of the very few pieces of evidence that Antenora used to have a lot of flowing water on its surface. It was named the "Valley of Silence" or "Valles Silenti" because it is a known fact that if you make loud noises when inside the valley, big rocks teetering on the edges at the top will crush the maker of such noise by means of large avalanche.
The original discoverer of the valley is unknown, but it was named by RevengeX Palpatine when he visited there while hiking through the mountains that surround the oasis at which the House Headquarters lays.
Temple of the Rakata
Eons ago at the time of the Infinite Empire, the Rakatans sought after more and more planets in which to thrive and prosper. Their gaze fell upon the small desert world of Antenora and so they came to colonize the planet. As they did, they transported some of the Tusken Raiders from previously conquered Tatooine to use as slaves. They moved to Antenora with their allies, the near-extinct human race of Seoularians and the Seoularians formed an accociation know as the 'Celestials'. However, over time the Seoularians or Architects as they were later known as, became jealous of the Force powers that Rakata (Builders) were able to weild. This jealousy turned to hatred and tensions grew.
Despite the knowledge of the Seoularian jealousy, the Rakata built a temple on the southern pole of the planet, a place to harness the ability their allies lusted after so much. With the Celestials already jealous of the Rakata power, the construction of the elaborate temple caused their bottled resentment to explode.
With their citizens rapidly growing to despise the Rakata, their leader was given no choice but to break from the Infinite Empire. To show the Rakata their now enemy, the Celestials ordered an assassination of the Rakata leader on Antenora.
The plan succeeded, but the Rakata struck back, unorganised, but incredibly strong compared to the Seoularians. As conflict spread across the colonised zones, Civil War developed across the majority of the planet.
Straight away the Seoularians knew they were going to lose. Using their intelligence without the easier method of the Force, they manipulated the sand people to join their cause. With the Tusken support, the Celestial army almost doubled that of the Rakata. Arrogant, their enemies decided not to turn the Sand People indefinitely to their side, rather revelling in the prospect of the blood their weapons were soon to taste.
The war was quick, short, and bloody. Cities were burned to the ground; men, women and children of both sides were massacred or imprisoned. In two short months, all of the Celestials were killed by the Rakata. The conflict spread across the Galaxy, as news spread of the Seoularian betrayal, all were immediately silenced.
After the war that covered the planet, the Rakata lost almost four fifths of their former numbers. Their numbers weakened, their spirits dampened, they became easy prey for the predators of Antenora. Most of the Sand People were slain by the Rakata, although a few scattered tribes remained scattered across the planet.
What was left of the Rakatan presence on Antenora was lost in time, the only thing that remain of their presence is tales passed down by the Sand people that remain there, although deeper clues are bound to lie deep in the ruined cities of the Ancient Civilisation.
