Tisto was a Jedi Ranger and member of the Battle Team Knights of Allusis.

Character History

The Black Lotus 28-34 ABY

The Black Lotus was Tistos most prized possession for the entire time he had it. A Swoop bike built by his friend Lucia, it was by his side through over half a decade of racing. While his official record pre the bombardment of New Tython was 120-75, he attributes a lot of his success to the durable and fast bike. Among the big ticket items he won were a cloud car, which he sold to give money to the poor, a holocron containing instructions for the Lightsaber Form Zero, and in 30 ABY a red hued kyber crystal from a destroyed lightsaber. The bike was lost to Tisto during the bombardment of NT, as he gave it to a family trying to flee.

Tisto has known many people and seen a lot throughout his short life. However he has only formed real bonds with a select few, due to his experiences as a young child on Nar Shaddaa. His experiences with the Jedi have taught him a lot however, and he is beginning to open up to others who he has not yet met.

Bell only recently met Tisto, shortly after the bombardment of New Tython. As the biker stayed behind to make sure that his allies could get away, he was forced to go on board the last fleeing ship, a transport owned by a group of Trandoshan slavers. Kidnapped, Tisto met the other slaves, including Bell, a human woman his age, who had been a slave for her entire life. It did not take long for the pair to lead a slave revolt against the Trandoshans, though at the cost of the rest of the slaves.

The two became close friends as Tisto piloted the transport to Florrum, where he rejoined the Jedi, and the two joined the war against Plagueis. While they did not find success on the battlefield, the two saved each other's lives several times before having to retreat along with the Jedi due to the loss of the war.

Upon arriving at Solyait Bell began to learn more technical skills, and has since finished Tistos new bike, Quinn. The two remain friends, though many mock them saying they are in a relationship.

Lucia

Lucia was Tistos first female friend, and budding romantic interest for a long time. The two met when Tisto was five, due to his father's connection with Swoop gangs. Because of this Tisto found a home when he encountered her again after his father disappeared. The two had a rocky friendship, with Tisto having accidentally destroyed swoop bikes Lucia had built twice. For many years the two would only ever speak to the other if it came down to it, however they considered each other friends. This changed during a gang war, when Tisto threw himself in front of Lucia to save her from an explosion.

That move left the teenage Tisto in the hospital for almost a year, and Lucia built him his first swoop bike, Black Lotus.The two grew closer, and Lucia even went with Tisto when he brought the gang to New Tython after becoming its leader. The two were side by side during the Battle of Tanduran, however in the end the sith Torrek Marth cut her down while escaping.

Personality

Tisto is unique among the Jedi of Clan Odan Urr, as he does not see himself as a Jedi. Growing up on the streets of Nar Shaddaa, he has only has his lightsaber for four years. While there were many circumstances around this, he considers himself to simply be who he has always been, a biker. Despite his hard stance on this, he is open to other ideas, having grown up with a different ideas being thrown around every day.

Having spent two years alone on the streets before joining the Nameless, Tisto learned the hard way just how tough life could be, even for one with the Force. He had to learn how to survive on his own, and developed a care for those who have to go through with anything similar to that. After growing older and joining the Nameless he began to take a more active stance in defending those people when they were abused, and even earned the nickname “Defender of the Downtrodden” in his gang.

He also views things very simply, another result of growing up in a gang. Complex thinking often got people killed, and slowed them down. The way to live was to go with the simplest method. While many confuse this for stupidity, they are often too caught up in their own plans to realize that Tisto has already begun to charge in recklessly. None of this is to say that Tisto can’t come up with complex plans, more that he focuses on split second decisions, which work better when simple.

Appearance

Tisto is a male Kiffar with a few physical oddities, looking nothing like the average Kiffar warrior.

Physical Description

His redish brown hair marks he is not a pure Kiffar, even though the human in his family was his Great Great grandmother. His qukuuf tattoo is a green crescent running from his left jaw to the top of his nose to his right jaw. He is broad shouldered, yet thin, and carries himself lightly. He has several small scars across his arms and face from several racing accidents. He has hazel green eyes, which are often never seen. Unlike most Kiffar males, he is not muscular, being leaner, and seems more to fit into the role of a artist or racer than the warrior he often is. Unlike his lean built his eyes are harsh and seem to pierce the souls of those he examines. On the rare occasions when he takes off his jacket, one can see two long, but perfectly healed scars, run from his shoulders down his back from an explosion he was in when he was younger.

Clothing

Tisto is mostly seen in his racing gear, a black armorweave jacket, with blue and yellow armored pants with a look similar to mandalorian armor, and a red undershirt. His racing jacket has several patches on it, due to his activity working with several groups. His wrist laser, polished to a shine, is never not worn on his right arm. His lightsaber hangs from his waist. .

Skills/Training/Combat

Tisto was an experienced combatant. A veteran of a dozen gang wars, the Battle of Tanduran, and the war on Florrum, he has had many battles to hone his particular skills. As a kid he was trained in blasters, hand to hand, and mechanics in the Nameless, and as he grew older became more and more of the face of the Nameless in battle. Upon building his lightsaber with the help of Lucia, he began to train with it, adding it into his fighting style.

Combat

Tisto was originally trained in Corellian kickboxing by his father, and after wandering Nar Shaddaa from the ages of five to seven got in lots of practice with the basics of it. When he arrived in the swoop gang the Nameless he was placed under the tutelage of Xiphos, a former teacher of Corellian kickboxing and Chhrlarn a Wookie bodyguard. The two trained him over the years to hold his own in a fist fight, and lead him to reach the upper levels of Corellian kickboxing. He was also trained in using a blaster pistol, and the wrist laser, which had a few years earlier become the signature weapon of the gang.

After building his lightsaber, Tisto began to practice with Chhrlarn to develope his saber skills. While he was limited to just the basics, with Chhrlarns help, he was able to combine his lightsaber skill with his martial arts and create his own unique fighting style. While many of the more advanced form pose challenges to Tisto do to him not knowing how to counter the advanced moves, he has managed to push through with unpredictability and a near perfection of the basics.

Piloting

Tisto is a natural born pilot, exhibiting quick reflexes and manual dexterity at a young age. When he joined the Nameless he flew swoops around with ease,though was held back from serious races due to his age. As he got older he entered serious Swoop races, drawing the attention of the Trade Spine League who needed a pilot. With them he learned to fly both transports and fighters running missions for them. He did leave their organization to join back up with his gang after two years, and wasn’t able to practice with ships for a long time.

Upon arriving on New Tython and joining the Jedi Tisto began to pilot once more, and became one of the top pilots in Hoth. Despite this he has not joined a squadron. He flew in notable moments, like the War on Florrum, his journey to Florrum, and in his House Versus House Training matches.
