The Cotelin-class Star Destroyer was one of the five classes of warships gained by the Dark Brotherhood through Operation Tempest Bravo in 24 ABY. The Cotelin-class is similar to that of the Nebula-class but with numerous upgrades including addition space for another squadron of fighters and added armaments. It is currently the largest and most powerful capital ship in all of the Clans of the Brotherhood.

History

CSD Justice Prior to Repaint

Gaining the Cotelin-class Star Destroyer was top priority in the Fleet Modernization Act. The Justice can easily outmatch then Nebula-class Star Destroyers by sheer numbers and support, even more so is the case with the Imperial II-class ships. The Justice is the flagship of the Clan and is the leader of Battlegroup Vanguard.

Naming the Cotelin-class wasn't too difficult. The ship type was named after former Grand Master Jac Cotelin so the ship's name should naturally reflect one his best qualities. Jac always fought for the rights of those he served. Now the capital ship made in his name will fight to maintain peace and justice for Clan Taldryan.

New Technology

STRADEF: The Verpine Generation two Strategic Defense (STRADEF) computer weapon system enables unparalleled defensive capabilities. This system projects a defensive radar globe around all craft equipped with STRADEF. When a foreign object enters the STRADEF defensive globe the Fleet automatically targets and fires the highest probable solution to destroy the foreign object.

Verpine EM1: The Verpine Electromagnetic (EM) Shield Package is a EM resistant defensive capability designed to withstand ion blasts and electromagnetic attacks. EM1 utilizes dissipation properties spread across a ship’s exterior to defend against crippling EM attacks.
