The Acheron is a Belarus-class Medium Cruiser which serves as a frigate in Task Force Piranha. It was won by Clan Tarentum in the Third Brotherhood Civil War in 25 ABY.
History
The Acheron was one of the limited number of Belarus-class produced by the New Republic. It was acquired by Clan Tarentum in 25 ABY.
Originally assigned to Task Force Kraken, the Acheron suffered a grievous injury at the Battle of Antei and was presumed lost. The ship and crew narrowly managed to survived and was forced to hide in the Shroud for several several weeks as the Yuuzhan Vong looted Antei. Eventually, they were able to make a hyperspace jump and get within communications range of Yrida.
After returning to Yridia and undergoing repair, the Acheron was reorganized as part of Task Force Piranha in 27 ABY.
