Korvis is a Rattataki Mandalorian operating for Clan Vizla. He was the Consul of Clan Vizsla.
Character History
Early Life
Born in a noble house on Rattataki, Korvis was raised with the finer things in life. From an early age, however, he gravitated to the gladiatorial side of the Rattataki culture. By the time he was in his early teens, he was sneaking out to watch the matches and turned his back on the fanciful and comfortable lifestyle his parents provided. He ran away from Rattataki at the age of 18, seeking a more adventurous life than what was planned for him by his family.
He traveled the galaxy as a gun for hire, gladiator, and mercenary for various crews and individuals. Despite being an accomplished fighter, he still felt there was more to his life than just randomly killing people. It paid the bills but was not the life he knew he was destined to have. Eventually, he found himself hired to fight for an unknown group operating in the Zsoldos system.
Clan Vizsla
The job itself was a simple job to secure a pirate base. Korvis attacked it with his normal brutality, and Korvis was the sole survivor on both sides. He secured the base and collected the pay for the whole team. Unbeknownst to him, the job was actually a recruitment tactic used by Clan Vizsla to weed out the best it could find to become Mandalorians.
Physical Description
Korvis is an imposing mountain of a man, standing nearly 7 feet tall and built like a bodybuilder. Numerous tattoos adorn his face and body. Not the typical tribal tattoos of most Rattataki, instead, he focuses on designs that typify his Mandalorian heritage and Zsoldos.
Equipment and Armor
His Beskar armor was forged by the master of Beskar in the Brotherhood Zxyl Bes'uliik Taldrya. It is custom-made as all Beskar armor is with rigid specifications. Painted with orange and white accents on both the helmet and chest plate. The rest is painted in a dark grey color. A single Shriekhawk is painted on his right shoulder piece. Underneath, he wears a tight-fitting bodysuit that accentuates his muscular figure.
Also, crafted by Zxyl of Clan Bes’uliik is Korvis pride and joy. The Spear of Nidas. A 7-foot-long beskar spear with a wide blade and long blade sharpened on both sides. It is designed to both stab and cut his enemies. The back end of the spear has also been shaped into a pointed tip, allowing him to stab with both ends. The shaft has been darkened with acid to give it a black appearance and an orange ribbon adorns the shaft where it meets the blade. Korvis has named it after a Taung general who held the Zhell at bay during the evacuation of Coruscant, which led the Taung to Roon and eventually to Mandalore, forming the earliest Mandalorians.
