Character History

Early Life

Born to a family of social parasites, Vicxa was brought up in a life that was a constant facade. Her parents pretended to be rich and famous, often jumping from city to city, planet to planet, in order to keep up the ruse of their high standing while expertly endearing themselves with the local upper crust—before inevitably having to flee repercussions once their lies caught up with them. As such, Vicxa never had time to settle down or have a home in the traditional sense. Material goods were scarce, but her parents never jeopardized her happiness for it.

During these formative years, she was brought up in the same world view as her parents. She learned that life was for living, not toiling or jealous hoarding of wealth. There was so much good in the Galaxy, they reasoned, everyone wishing to partake need only reach out and grab a piece. Vicxa thus grew to view the world through this lense, developing a different sense of morality that distinctly lacked strong concepts of personal property or ownership. She also developed a flexible approach to the matter of truths and lies, not really considering one superior to the other, and easily joining her parents in their charades to play her own part in the ruse.

Galaxy Awaits

As the years passed and Vicxa grew to a young woman, she began to develop her own view on life. The ways of her parents weren't disagreeable to her, but she felt they too were still missing out. The constant jumping from world to world had left her with a desire to see more, ever more, and she found settling down an impossible proposition. Even if she had had the option to do so. Instead, she began chasing experiences. Much like her parents had done within the comfort of high society, Vicxa was drawn to the lower rungs of the social ladder, and as she saw more, her hunger to experience everything the galaxy had to offer only grew. Eventually, she could no longer stop herself, and with fond farewells to her parents, she left to explore the universe.

At first, she was content in merely hitching rides aboard merchant or smuggler ships, jumping from one world to the next and living off scams and ruses much like her parents had. But before long she began to spot patterns, see similarities, taste the sameness of civilization wherever she went. There were still delightful nuances, but the first high she'd found was eluding her. It was not before she was goaded by a group of local hoodlums to explore an ancient temple ruin that she found something truly unique.

In those ruins, she managed to uncover a hitherto sealed-off room, finding within inscriptions and murals that had not seen living eyes for centuries, perhaps even milennia. The experience opened her eyes to the untapped potential of new experiences that lay dormant before her very eyes—the galaxy's lost secrets.

Since that day, she's dedicated her life to sniffing out every lost ruin and temple, uncovering every buried secret, and finding every missing work of ancient culture. Not because she wishes to be a great archeologist, or to amass a collection without equal, but only to lay claim to the unique moment that finding such things entails.

Physical Description

Vicxa's frame could best be described as compact, with a relatively modest physique whose only defining characteristics are the emerald green skin and wide, curvy hips that sway rather pronouncedly as she moves. Though the femininely soft exterior belies it well, she is a seasoned explorer and beneath the unassuming exterior lies sinewy muscle gained in the field, rather than a gym.

Her crimson tipped black hair is often kept tied in a manner of different ways, getting increasingly constrained the likelier she is to need to be mobile. Wide lips accent the baseline smile she wears almost everywhere she goes, a glint never leaving her dark jade eyes. The traditional Mirialan tattoos on her face form a cluster of diamonds on her forehead, with a matching swarm up her chin and a pair of wide strokes along her gentle cheekbones.
