- "Life is like a tide, don't fight it, flow with it."
- ―Addressing students of the Praxeum.
A member of Clan Odan-Urr, Ackdool Salazar is a Mon Calamari Jedi Guardian that primarily defends the Kiast System as an Officer of the O.E.F Navy and as the Captain of the MC40a Light Cruiser - Rohlan's Vision. A natural diplomat and tactical genius, he is extremely beneficial to his Clan, especially when utilizing a unique set of abilities sharpened by his affinity to the Force. Adept with Battle Meditation, he is a boon to his allies and has even been known to telekinetically guide rockets or torpedoes onto targets with pinpoint precision.

Dac To The Future
Spawned in 3 ABY, on the oceanic world known to space-travelers as Dac, Ackdool Salazar began life as a survivor. Hatched in a rocky grove outside of Coral City, he was one of nine offspring that would inevitably be swallowed by a predatory fish called Krakana. Sadly, his brothers and sisters would not survive the encounter which was a common occurrence on Dac, but he would. A naturally gifted being, later in life he would discover that he was willed into existence by the Force.
Things always seemed to come easy to him as he possessed an aptitude for learning and diplomacy. One such example of this was when he was tasked with killing the very Krakana that threatened his life at birth as a rite of passage. Instead, the creature in his presence, seemingly lost its predatory drive and its ravenous appetite appeared to be satiated. It was overwhelmed with a peace that allowed Ackdool to ride it back to Coral City where his people were left stunned.
Having a bright future ahead of him, Ackdool was compelled to help rebuild his homeworld after the Imperial occupation had drastically changed its landscape. A student of war history, Ackdool grew up admiring Mon Calamarian heroes such as Gial Ackbar and Raddus, aspiring to someday match their level of commitment and stratagem.
Trial By Fire
Ackdool was born during the waning years of the Galatic Empire and by the time he was three years old, the Imperial machine had been crippled in the Battle of Jakku. Warriors of the Rebel Alliance and fragments of the Empire both occupied Mon Cala and it was in this studio of war, Ackdool would cut his teeth.
New leaders had risen to the top and had become veterans of a bloody and historic campaign, while many older officers were laid to rest and rewarded with stories of triumph. The hero of Mon Cala was one such leader, a Jedi in hiding on Mon Cala, a survivor of Order 66 and a General that helped vanquish the evil regime. His name was Sundor Storma.
Beaten back by the Rebel Alliance, intelligence officers released information of a contingency plan set in place by the deceased Emporer later to be known as Operation: Cinder. Mon Cala was one world of many, marked for annihilation. Fortunately, the plans would be thwarted, but during this period of time, a young Ackdool would become familiar with tactical Appraisal, strategy, and maneuvering. High ranking officials including Sundor would frequent their dwelling to discuss these plans in elaborate detail with Vorai Salazar, Ackdool's father. However, Sundor had plans outside of warfare as he was intrigued by Ackdool's ability to absorb and apply information. He sensed something greater in the lad, so pushed for him to enter the Naval Academy at a mere fifteen years of age. It would be the most important test of the younglings life.
Attending the Mon Calamarian Naval Academy had been a dream come true. He excelled in his classes and received recognition for his good marks and leadership acumen, quickly rising to the rank of Lieutenant by the time he reached eighteen years of age. It was a shining achievement for such a young age, especially when factoring in the high standards of his people. Growing up in the throes of war brought out the potential of many Mon Calamarians, some that would never have been privy to their gifts had they not been tested.
Sundor was impressed, so much so that he had an offer that Ackdool would be foolish to refuse.
Tides Of Change
- "Your mind for strategy is a credit to your people, you're quite special. But tell me, what do you know of the Force?"
- ―Sundor Storma to Ackdool after winning a military game.
