Character Sheet

Physical Description

Radikat is fairly large and thickly muscled even for a Barabel. The breaks in her greyish-green scaly plating are more prominent than average, making for a somewhat spiked silhouette. Her brow is heavy over her fierce, red eyes, making for an intimidating natural expression, made all the more evident by a pale face amidst otherwise dark coloration. From head to toe, Radikat’s darker scales are covered in small, black tattoos, mostly rows and columns of squares, but also some more intricate squared shapes along her chest and back. Radikat’s left leg from the lower-thigh down is cybernetic, with its red metal plating and black inner mechanics on full display.

General Aspects

Ex-Gladiator

Seemingly a lifetime ago, Radikat lived as a gladiator. Though she was never inherently a crowd pleaser, her particularly brutal behavior once won her great favor and was thus encouraged. Her new way of life isn’t always civil, strictly speaking, but she has had some trouble adjusting to a world where not everyone is expecting to brawl with their peers. At least the people who do tend to get into fights are there to give her something to punch from time to time.

Thick Hide

Much like her scales, Radikat’s emotions are difficult to break open. While she won’t hesitate to shoot straight even over the most rude thought she feels needs to be said, her deeper feelings are safely guarded behind the thickest of shells. Emotions are a weakness that can be exploited, and she detests the discomfort that comes from people trying to pick her apart. Those who pay close attention, however, might catch a drop in her guard when something genuinely meaningful to her occurs.

Personality Aspects

Content Being Disgruntled

Radikat doesn’t smile very often, and why should she? Life is hard, and she’s always prepared to butt heads with the next challenge it throws at her. Those who know her default mood is grumpy can likely tell the difference between her constructive complaints and her actual words of hatred, though it’s no secret that people typically aren’t a fan of her regular negativity.

Efficiency... In Moderation

If there’s one positive way Radikat impacts her surroundings, it’s efficiency. A job not done to the fullest extent is going to make a problem for someone, somewhere, and Radikat is more than familiar with the pain of picking up other people’s slack. Although she doesn’t skip out on anything in her work, she doesn’t quite hold her private life to the same standard. A burden on herself alone is only worth fixing if it’s easy or essential, else she’ll simply deal with the repercussions.

Combat Aspects

Fighting Pays Well

In Radikat’s experience, violence tends to solve more problems than the credit people give it, like paying her living expenses. Although she’s done her best to not get into fights without good reason since she left the gladiator arenas, Radikat definitely doesn’t mind resorting to a brawl if she can find an excuse to let her rage loose. And hey, the money she can get from mercenary work, guarding dignitaries, or just bets at a bar, all makes for a good excuse, as far as she’s concerned.

Rip And Tear

Unless there’s some specific goal to keep in focus, Radikat doesn’t hold back in a fight. Anything she can get her hands on is allowed as a weapon, any injuries she can inflict are fair game, and any permanent damage as a result is likely deserved. Her actions in combat may be considered cheap, dishonorable, completely overkill, and just plain brutal, but if it gets the job done, she couldn’t care less what it took. Battle is inherently destructive, and if the only objective is to beat her opponents until they can no longer fight, there’s no reason to restrict herself on how she does that.

  • Has a younger brother who is missing, and will leave all other ventures behind to pursue any clues to his whereabouts.
