The Damind Sword was one of the three Crystal Swords awarded after the Invasion of Coratua. It was given to Clan Naga Sadow for placing third in the last Obelisk Rite of Supremacy.
Description
This sword was fashioned by the finest weapon smiths, and the most powerful sorcerers that the Brotherhood has. At their heart lies a crystal used in the creation of a lightsaber. Unlike a lightsaber, it does not require a power cell, as it's powered directly by the dark side. The flame is projected around a cortosis-weaved blade, and has the properties one would normally expect in a lightsaber with the same crystal, albeit more powerful.
Possession of the two remaining swords are Clan Tarentum holding the Solari Sword and Clan Taldryan holding the Obtene Crystal Sword.
History
Following the Invasion of Coratua the Dark Council awarded Clan Naga Sadow a gift for their assistance in taking control of the Coratua system in order to silence the local pirate threat and avoid drawing unwanted attention from the New Republic. The sword has since seen little use as it takes a true master to really use, as it drains the force around it. The Elders of the Clan have been given open invitations to use the sword since they have the true power needed for such an item.
