S'nar Que Seshai is a recent graduate of the Dark Jedi Academy. Earning a home among House Qel-Droma, the Kaleesh found his place among the Obelisk when he was removed from slavery, and brought to the order by Teroch Erinos. He has so far seen aggressive promotion through the ranks. He feels the need to prove himself. The words of his Master echoing in his mind "Prove you still have something left slave, prove there is something left of what you were". S'nar is determined to do just that.
Character History
Born the thirty second son, of forty two children. S’nar barely knew his father, the famous Kaleesh known as General Seshai. The General’s death meant that all of his assets, wives, and responsibilities passed onto his eldest son Batilith. Unfortunately for the Seshai family, Batilith was not nearly the Kaleesh his father was. After multiple failed seasons of war, most of the clan was dead. And many of Batilith’s wives had committed suicide rather than be with a coward, and a failure.
Batilith resorted to calling on his father's contacts among the Hutt’s, specifically Gorga Hutt. Striking a deal to sell his thirteen youngest siblings into slavery. Batilith negotiated for the resources, and ordnance he would need to commit to another season of war.
S’nar was one of the children sold into slavery, forced to watch as he was used as little more than another expendable resource by his eldest brother.
The young Kaleesh would spend eight years inside a Helicite mine where he would develop a severe allergy to the Helicite dust. During transport to another facility, luck would find the Gorga Slavern come into contact with a wealthy buyer looking for slaves. In truth the vessel that carried the buyer, carried none other than Teroch Erinos who had senses the presence of a force user onboard the Slavern.
Offering the Kaleesh freedom, Teroch expected an example made so that S’nar could prove he still had the ability to fight. S’nar killed Gorga’s men, and murdered every crewmen, and slave on board the ship before being taken aboard Teroch’s vessel and kept to quarters until S’nar could regain his senses.
Teroch made the Kaleesh an offer, in exchange for the Mandalorian saving him, S’nar would come to the Dark Jedi Academy and learn to use the force, and become Teroch’s newest apprentice.
Personality/Demeanor
S’nars earliest years were spent on Kaleesh being raised as the child of a famous war hero General Seshai earned his place in Shrupak Absemi the home of the Gods. S’nar looked up to his father as the example of a Kaleesh warrior. Someone who walked in the footsteps of General Grevious, and Bentailis.
When taken by the slavers of Gorga Hutt S’nar spent eight years watching his more rebelious siblings be broken by the Slavers. His brothers each died either in the Hutt games, or as labor slaves in Helicite mines. S’nar learned to survive by being unobtrusive, by doing everything he could to not be noticed. And because of this he secretly despises that he allowed himself to become weak and conform instead of die with honor.
Now that he is free, he has found an opportunity to remember what he was supposed to be. As a Dark Jedi he will become strong enough to not only walk among the Gods of the Kaleesh but become one of them. Though he now serves another master, this master he serves of his own desire. S’nar constantly wages battle with himself part of him is still all to comfortable remaining in the shadows, unknown, and unseen. While the dark anger in him searches for the chance to unleash itself.
The Obelisk order was a natural choice for S’nar. The constant combat, the constant turmoil, and need to prove oneself in combat has given S’nar the chance to unleash that anger. Only in battle has he found a way to shrug off the mantle of a slave and feel completely free.
Training/Fighting Style
Despite being taken from his homeworld, in his youth S’nar had trained alongside his Father’s warriors. Developing an early talent for use of the Shoni spear, and a variant of the Broken Gate style that his Father had brought back to his kinsmen among the Kaleesh.
After his time in the Academy, S’nar has devoted himself to the mastery of his martial disciplines, he is well aware of Terochs reason for having him trained. Even the reason for his assignment to work alongside Marick Arconae in Qel-Droma. S’nar is to be a weapon for his Clan, his natural abilities have allowed him to excel among the younger students.
The true weakness to S’nar’s fighting, is that he has yet to develop fully as a force user. While his abilities aren’t difficult for him to summon; he is often without much endurance for force use. And even the slightest attempt by Marick, or Teroch can break down his defences.
Appearance/Attire
S’nar has the characteristic appearance of his people, dark brown scaled skin with a red tint. Though generally kept covered, those few who have helped in his training have seen the tangled webbing of scars across the Kaleesh’s body from years spent in servitude. The Kaleesh has given up his peoples customary armor and attire; for more traditional and tactical a customized suit of sith battle armor designed to fit his form and still allow for freedom of movement.
S’nar has adopted the weapons of his people, carrying a Shoni Spear as his primary weapon, and a Lig Sword as a back up. The two weapons given to him by Teroch Erinos as a gift for his graduation from the Academy.
The one thing that S’nar treasures is the mask that he wore throughout his time as a slave, it was the one piece of his culture he retained and managed to save. The Huk Mask has a single long crack down the right side of the mask that S’nar has never repaired and attributes to the memory of his time as a slave. He is almost never seen without the mask covering his features, only in the presence of one of his mentors will be remove the mask.
Outstanding Achievements
- In three days Teroch made his way from Initiate to Protector.
