The Secret Intelligence Division (SIS) is Taldryan's primary foreign intelligence service. These agents and operatives are responsible for monitoring threats, and information sources throughout the galaxy and the Brotherhood, and maintaining a close eye on any new developments. Home to three Branches, two of them are focused on espionage within the Brotherhood, and then the galaxy at large. The final Branch, Cipher, is the most enigmatic, and famous of Taldryan's Intelligence Directorate. The Secret Intelligence Division is commanded by Roth Edo.
Mission
The SIS Division is the vibroblade to the Taldryan Navy and Army’s concussion rifle. They are at the leading edge of all offensive maneuvers, and in many cases solve any “issues” Taldryan may have before they become a larger problem. Within SIS the line between Analysis and Operations become blurred, with Agents trained fully in both aspects. As such, SIS is organized based on locational-focus. The two Branches are the Brotherhood Intelligence Service and Galactic Intelligence Service. Within these Branches are Cells, with Agents knowing only about other Agents within their specific Cells. Agents operating within a Cell are generally located outside of Taldryan space and within the location that they are monitoring, either as part of the Taldryan diplomatic mission in that sector or posing as civilians.
There is one last section of SIS called Cipher Branch. There is no accessible information on Cipher other than that held by a select few. Agents of Cipher report directly to the Director of SIS and are known only by their designation in the few official communiques that mention them. They operate independently of direct support, and all of their missions will be completely disavowed should they become public knowledge.
