Aragan Atema is the firstborn son of Ylith Atema and Jade Atema and is half-Valheru and half-Human. He was named after Draken's grandfather Aragan Elariël, who was said to have created the Silivren Amlug, the elite Dragonriders from the time when the Valheru existed on Shi.

Birth

Birth had a lot of complications which almost ended Aragan's life. Due to Jade being half Human herself, her darker side, vampiric side, had genes that made sure the mother died after childbirth. Thanks to the technologies available on the Marakith Skyhook a medical team ensured that both the child and the mother survived and Ylith and Jade had a son, naming him after Draken's grandfather Aragan, known as a great Valheru warrior in his time.
