Fear
Prerequisites:
Manipulating the deepest parts of a target's mind, this power can cause irrational fear.
Horror
Prerequisites:
- Third Rite (EQ1 - EQ4)
- Force power: Fear, 5 points
This power enables its user to cause multiple enemies to enter into a severe state of panic, which often results in debilitation. Its success is based on the user's adeptness with Force Fear.
Torture by Chagrin
Prerequisites:
- Mastery (DA - DP)
- Force power: Horror, 5 points
This power allows the user to mentally torture a target by probing their mind in order to dredge up the most painful of memories. The victim is faced with a ceaseless barrage of their own anguished past of loss, failure, and guilt. Unable to escape, the target may be driven mad in time.
Insanity
Prerequisites:
- Grand Mastery (GM only)
- Force power: Torture by Chagrin, 5 points
By entering the mind of one's opponent and tainting their memories, the user becomes the subject of his target's worst fears. Unable to focus on anything but their immediate terror, the subject will often choose suicide if unable to escape the power's effect.
