Long Shan Zhi

A highly specialized combat stance practiced by members of the Long Family. Translated roughly as Dragon Thunder Fist, it draws on the most aggressive aspects of the Dark Side to enhance combat offensives. This form was created by Lord Chi Long, the legendary Obelisk warrior and Grand Master, known for his tenacity and insanity. It is not known if there is a correllation between this Form, and the terrifying Shan Long, who is the current Master of this stance. Any who observe Shan Long in combat and survive report the absolute fluidity and brutality of his fighting style.

Stance

Masters of this form use a combination of mental and physical intimidation to achieve the death of their opponents. All joints are held loose, weight is constantly shifted, and the fighter moves as if caught in a storm. Practitioners never stand still, they circle their prey in a constant offensive stance.

Striking

High level telekinetic and mental powers are used in conjunction with lightning fast strikes and withdrawals. Practitioners of Long Shan Zhi are generally of two minds: Overwhelm with sensory overload a rapid succession of attacks on many fronts, or drawing out combat into a torturous game of stalking. The first goal being to break the body, the second to break the mind.

Defense

No defensive postures have been observed in adherents of Long Shan Zhi. Generally speaking, this form is taught to powerful Elders who augment their bodies with unholy applications of the Dark Side. If the true nature of this form is followed, they will have struck and moved to another position before their opponent has time to react, or counter-attack. Adherents are in such a state of mental frenzy, they generally do not notice any but the most grevious bodily harm.
