The Tamalar Air Compound, named in honor of former Acclivis Draco Quaestor Vally Tamalar, had its beginnings as a humble one-hangar building. However, as House Acclivis Draco expanded, it was deemed necessary to expand the spaceport with it and so the Tamalar Air Compound was born.

A small spaceport compared to most other planets, the three-hangar complex serves the needs of Antenora beautifully. While all three hangars are owned by House Acclivis Draco, one of the hangars is rented to the Antenora Transit Authority. Despite this fact, the hangars names were all chosen by House Acclivis Draco; to this day, they stand as memorials to the groups they once represented.

The three hangars surround the Tamalar Control Center with large hallways connecting each hangar to the Control Center. Because the size of the compound, a Maglev Train operates all day long around it and makes frequent stops at each hangar. It also makes stops at the central building, known to many as Flight Control; however, that is not the building's only purpose. The Tamalar Air Compound is made almost entirely of metal and stone.

Structure

Tamalar Control Center

The Tamalar Control Center building is arguably one of the most important buildings on the compound. Rising to a majestic spire graced by a large flashing light so that ships do not hit it, the Control Center controls all flight options. It has the authority to deny ships the right to land in the compound as well as the right to hold offenders of the law. The only people who supersede this right are the Quaestor and Aedile.

The Control Center building is also home to the spaceport’s only bar. Known as the Dragon's Den, the bar is a favorite hangout spot for members of the House and natives alike. As an excellent location to find information, the Den is constantly patrolled by an undercover member of Acclivis Draco's legions.

In addition to this, the Central Building is also the main headquarters of the Antenora Transit Authority. This organization is in charge of coordinating regular shipments of goods to and from Antenora, as well as shuttles to transport people.

Drynwyn's Hangar

The Drynwyn's Flame Hangar, normally called Drynwyn's Hangar is the location where the House stores its larger ships. Up to four medium transports can be in the hangar at one time while many more can be stored in the area surrounding the hangar. Gracing the top of the hangar is a small tower with a flashing light on top. This alerts ships coming in at night of the location of the spaceport.

Inside the hangar, several fuel pumps are available to attach to a ship. There is also a large databank where one can type commands to the droid brains operating the hangar. These commands can range from “refueling” to “replace aft durasteel plating”.

Dragon Guard Hangar

The Dragon Guard Hangar, often called the Dragon Hangar, is home to many of Acclivis Draco's star fighters. Up to thirty star fighters may be landed on the floor of the hangar; however, in order to fit more fighters indoors a rack was installed much the same as on Imperial vessels to refuel and recharge ships. This allowed another fifty star fighters to be landed in the hangar. A multitude of other fighters may be landed outside however, in the areas surrounding the hangar.

Additionally within the hangar is a tool bench. Because most fighter pilots prefer to do the repairs manually and solo, the House Summit deemed it unnecessary to add a droid-repair option here. However, ships will automatically be entered into a refueling queue upon entering the hangar.

Like the Drynwyn's Hangar, the Dragon Hangar also has an antenna gracing its roof so that pilots do not crash into the hangar when landing.

Ebon Cloak Hangar

The Ebon Cloak Hangar is the only hangar under the direct command of the Antenora Transit Authority. However, it is rumored that the head of the Authority is a pawn of the Quaestor, which would indicate that the Hangar remains under the House's control. This hangar is oftentimes the busiest hangar for it caters to the widest audience. While the other two hangars serve only House Acclivis Draco, the Ebon Cloak Hangar serves the entire population of Antenora. It is a common sight to see merchants waiting to pick up their latest goods at the hangar.

Because the hangar must function, the House Summit has given it some leniency. For example, if there are too many ships in the hangar and another transport is landing, it will be allowed to park in the area surrounding the hangar, oftentimes slipping onto land that the Authority does not rent.

In addition, because of the wide variety of people that the hangar hosts, it is difficult to define a generic size of ship that lands within it. There is normally everything from medium transports to light fighters, for the hangar is not large enough to host much else.
