The Baron was an Imperial II-Class Star Destroyer under the jurisdiction of the Clan Plagueis Naval Command. She has been there since being acquired after the Eighth Great Jedi War. She acts as the Flagship of the Clan Plagueis Fleet.

The Baron was constructed under the guidance of the Kuat Drive Yards in 25 ABY at the Xa Fel facility with the intent of being sold to the Corporate Sector Authority.

History
Kuat Drive Yards laid the keel of The Baron in mid 25 ABY as part of its expanding fleet-building deal with a Corporate Sector Authority subsidiary, in reality a front being used by the Dark Brotherhood. It would remain in storage at Xa Fel while the custom designed ships of the fleet were transferred to the Verpine for technical upgrades. In the aftermath of the Vong incursion into Brotherhood space it was presented to Clan Plagueis, christened in honour of the fallen member Baron Zarco, and now serves as its flagship.
Ship Designation
The Baron serves on Task Force Oberon in an Offensive Designation. Commanding a Line entirely to herself, she will appear alongside the Perdition, Ballista, and the Atrum Pars II. Also, she retains the Flag during wartime.
