Boran is a large gas giant used primarily for Eleton gas mining. Spread across the planet are three floating cities, enclosed by a dome in order to create habitable biomes for workers on the planet. An incredibly large number of people reside on the planet, with most mainly being poor paid workers for the Dalicron Excavation Conglomerate

Aurora Haven
Aurora Haven is the capital city of Boran. Home to the Boran Planetary Council, the city is well kept in comparison to the others, which are ran by the DEC. Wealthier inhabitants are bolstered by the resources of the Boran Planetary Council, and are safeguarded by their policing force. Kickbacks from the DEC allow the city to flourish, with a number of high end hotel resorts, casinos and luxury shopping highstreets to name a few extras that Aurora Haven has that the other two cities do not.
Originally home to a large number of Imperial officers and commanders during the early stages of Imperial occupation of the system, the city has always benefitted from extra money pouring in, making it a large target for thieves and wrong-doers looking to take advantage of the wealthier people on the planet.
Extra policing and security checks in the space ports allow citizens of Aurora Haven to feel more safe however.
Galdrie Complex
Galdrie Complex is home to the industrial complex planetside. Whilst majority of the eleton glas mining infrastructure is outside of the habitable domes, silos and production centres are all located within the Galdrie Complex. Minimal residential space is allocated here, mainly for the workers within these industrial units within the dome.
Galdrie Complex is also home to the on-planet prison, sharing the same name. This is privately ran by the Dalicron Excavation Conglomerate, however they do take prisoners from Aurora Haven as well, a deal that the DEC have with the Boran Planetary Council. These prisoners are subject to harsh conditions and are forced to work as slave labour within the less desired roles within the gas mining industry. At time of writing, there are 11,000 prisoners within the prison, with general population divided into cells of 20 inmates.
Cirrus
Cirrus is home to the lower class, and therefore the vast majority of Boran inhabitants. There are no major sightings of note and almost zero reason for any non-inhabitants to visit. Purely a large stretch of tens of thousands of skyscrapers home to nearly 200 million sentients, the poverty within Cirrus is high and policing low, due to the already stretched policing forces of the Dalicron Excavation Conglomerate. This has sadly left the city in a dire state with high-levels of unreported crimes, a high murder rate and a low desire for outsiders to move in.
