Ryū has finer features than most, eyes the color of purple dusk, feathered, shoulder-length black hair. He wears close cropped stubble on his upper lip and chin. The thickness of his muscles isn't anything out of the norm for a physically inclined teenager. While they don't approach the volume of an adult's body, the muscles of his arms and torso are heavily toned and firm, statuesque despite his boyish looks. However, his body is marred by a crisscrossing pattern of scars. Many are cuts and punctures, but there are minor burns in many places.
