Feema is an underworld BD-3000 luxury droid belonging to Joseem Maruuch. "She" is highly modified with after-market programming to perform actions that her original programming did not intend.
Origin
The droid that would become Feema started her "life" in the service of Seti Ashgad. Once he was removed from power, Feema was given to various Senators by the Emperor. Unbeknownst to them, Feema had been outfitted with the very same circuitry that her former master had opposed. Feema would make a secret upload in the course of her nightly duties, thus keeping Emperor Palpatine informed of those he was suspicious of.
After the fall of the Empire, Feema was acquired by agents in the employ of Tinketh Fo. This brought her continued support of a senatorial like being. The interveening years were filled with constant threats to the New Republic. Feema continued to be upgraded with special abilities that were hidden through her casing. These enhancements kept her out of trouble, but not every problem could be fixed with an upgrade.
Death and Rebirth
The Yuuzhan Vong invasion of the galaxy was the largest threat ever to the New Republic. While on a mercy mission to the Outer Rim, the ship that Feema was on was torn apart by Vong insurgents. The debris field extended for a parsec, containing all manner of droids and medical supplies. Feema bounced around through the debris, encountering major damage to her outer casing and heavy damage to her central processor core. She remained in this state for years.
While making runs during his pirating days, the exiled Padawan Joseem Maruuch happened upon a small debris field. Most of the field had been picked through, but he happened to see a small gold and red glimmer coming from a destroyed hyperspace motivator. Flying his ship close-by, he saw the battered and torn BD-3000. Using the Force, Joseem pulled the droid close-by and added it to his small cargo supplies hold.
Feema remained in the Delta-7 Aethersprite's hold for another few years, until Joseem was made Prefect of the Marakith Skyhook. Once in his new position, Joseem was able to have his technicians rebuild the outer casing with a more updated look. He also had the processing core replaced with a SyntheTech AA-1 VerboBrain as well as a
TechSpan I module. Joseem saw personally to the luxury part of the programming, making sure that Feema would learn from any Twi'lek or Zeltron she came upon. Other modifications have been made, but only her new master knows what they are.
