* Looking over the history of Dathomir around 19 ABY (which is when she left), there is nothing to suggest that nobody had built a spaceport type set up on Dathomir. Brakiss arrived on the planet that year, and was "shipping" Nightsisters off to his Shadow Acedemy for years afterward. Also, by that time a Dathomirian had been the Queen Mother of the Hapes Consortium for 9 years, I'm sure that alone would have created some form of travel to and from the planet. As for the shroud, it never says that she navigated through the Shroud, it simply states that she "found her way to the Shadow Academy", and the means to find your way there might be traveling with somebody that can navigate the Shroud. You can't ding people on realism issues for things that they don't actually say happened in their article. I'm removing the questionable tag. - [[User:Solus Gar|Solus Gar]] 00:48, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

There is also nothing to suggest that nobody had built a Jedi Academy or a hospital or even a daycare for young Nightsisters; but we need to prove existence here, not non-existence (mostly in the sense of actual buildings), which is what you are “suggesting”. Not only could Brakiss not need a spaceport to ship Nightsisters off, but the canon mentions no spaceport on Dathomir at all (check it out [http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Spaceport [1]] ).

Questionable Content

You mentioned in your bio how you escaped Dathomir through means of a spaceport. Dathomir had no recordable spaceports, mainly for the reason that the Imperials had a penal colony on it (with no spaceport), and the Alliance never attained to anything on the planet.

Also, you mention you just found and traveled through the Shroud. Normally, it's just Equites whom can usually navigate through it. Scyrone 00:15, 12 December 2009 (UTC)

  • “there is nothing to suggest that nobody had built a spaceport type set up”

There is also nothing to suggest that nobody had built a Jedi Academy or a hospital or even a daycare for young Nightsisters; but we need to prove existence here, not non-existence (mostly in the sense of actual buildings), which is what you are “suggesting”. Not only could Brakiss not need a spaceport to ship Nightsisters off, but the canon mentions no spaceport on Dathomir at all (check it out [1] ).

Also, the Queen Mother could have had some kind of travel, but nothing hints at a spaceport (especially if it is only a few people going on and off planet).

In some cases (the cases where things are highly unlikely to occur) these things must be questioned. That is what I am doing. I understand we are a fictional club and we can make things up in certain aspects, but in the likelihood of an actual spaceport being on Dathomir, that is highly unlikely. It’s always been secluded, very few people come and go and when the Empire took over they didn’t really let the Witches do what they wanted. I am replacing the questionable tag on the basis of a spaceport being on Dathomir highly unlikely.

If we were to just let this slide, then what’s stopping me from making a secret Jedi Academy on Antei? What’s stopping me from creating a Yuuzhan Vong trading post on Coruscant? There wouldn’t be, but there should be and that is what I am doing. Scyrone 21:42, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
