Description

Gmork was Malisane de Ath's pet hound, a large genetically modified black furred hound given to Malisane as a gift from a former fellow member and heavily augmented in in the laboratory below Usharak Keep on Kangaras.

Originally a powerful creature with large claws and fangs, his modification has both made the creature increasingly fast and powerful, with a bite than can sever flesh and bone of even the most resilient creatures. His own skin was been alchemically modified allowing him a degree of resistance against edged weapons and medium ranged blaster fire.

Despite being heavy set, Gmork was a silent rapid killer that stalks opponents with great efficiency and is a terror in the night.

Gmork served his master for many missions before Malisane's departure from the Clan in 29ABY. During the mission to Lehon following a confrontation between Malisane and Agrist, Gmork attacked the mercenary to allow Malisane to escape. Despite being heavily wounded Agrist managed to slay the hound.

Trivia

As well as taking part in the capture of Jaginos, Gmork distinguished himself during a Clan runon to Kashyyyk by attacking a rogue Jedi Master allowing Malisane and Macron to overpower the enemy while Gmork was attempting to rip his leg off.

Gmork was named after and inspired by the wolf shaped assassin of the same name from Michael Ende's Neverending Story.
