| ==Becoming an EP==
| |

| The only guaranteed method for becoming an EP is to write a new course for the Shadow Academy. When a person writes a new course, they are given the option of being the first EP. An alternative is merely for the [[Headmaster]] to ask someone privately to take over the exam, though this option is rarely exercised, and usually only under special circumstances. The only other way to become an EP is to apply for an ''open'' position. This is the most common method, and the Headmaster, or his praetor, will post a notice on the main page about an open job. The following requirements are considered the ''minimum'', and are standard for all EP positions.

| *Have passed the course before the announcement was posted (ex: you can't apply to be EP of Brotherhood Basics without having passed that exam)

| *Have an average e-mail turn around time of 72 hours or less

| *Identify one thing you like about the course, and one you thing you think needs to be improved.

| Applications should be emailed to the Headmaster and his praetor by the date noted in the announcement. Once again, these are the minimum requirements for the job. The Headmaster may add other requirements as he deems fit, and any non-standard tests (such as the Test of Wisdom) will have specific requirements.
