Perhaps we could start using this template... change it to "Quote of the Week" and feature a funny IRC quote or something. -- RevengeX Palpatine 20:50, 15 October 2007 (MDT)
Yes we can do that - first though I would like to have a fairly large collection of quotes before we begin using it. We'll do it the same as Featured Article, but lets get a huge list of nominations and have at least 25 in the queue before we post it on the Main Page. --Tron 22:25, 15 October 2007 (MDT)
The idea is good, and maybe request member quote submissions - but I think the choosing should be left to the wiki staff. And the same could be said for featured articles. Currently only a handful of people nominate or support/object to articles. It would make more sense if the Wiki Staff did away with nominations (at least public) and created their own list of viable features - whether they be quotes or pages. Just a thought, seeing as the featured article nomination page only has 3 nominations, and two of them are all objected to :P --Shadow Taldrya 23:12, 15 October 2007 (MDT)
Until we do start using this, I removed the red link. When we use it, just add back the [[]] around the Archive link and everything'll switch back to normal --Aabs 10:53, 20 November 2007 (MST)
