| === The Beginning === | | === Early Life === |
| Korvyn was born on Coruscant in 1 ABY, however, the exact date has never been confirmed. Korvyn never knew his parents and grew up on the streets of Coruscant. As with most in the underworld, Korvyn joined a street gang. In time this came to be his Family. His natural talent for thievery and stealth made him a valuable asset to the gang. His adolescence was spent in and out of the jails in the Ocato sector of the underworld and was feared by most of the inhabitants as both a cold-blooded assassin and a master thief.
| | Korvis descended from refugees that fled the destruction of [[starwars:lasan|Lasan]] by the Empire. Originally settling hidden away on the Wookie homeworld of Kashyyyk the Imperial presence there drove them farther from the Core worlds and led to them bouncing around different planets before ending up in brotherhood space. |
| | |
| === A New Path ===
| |
| ==== The Emperor's Hammer ====
| |
| | |
| At the age of 18, and with a lengthy prison sentence hanging over his head, Korvyn was offered the chance to attend the Imperial Academy and serve the Empire. In exchange for his service, One year would be taken off his prison time for every year served. A natural Thief growing up Korvyn displayed Remarkable talents in Recon and Sniper school. Graduating 1st in his class he was assigned to special duties within the Emperor's Hammer.
| |
| It was during this time that his Force abilities were discovered and training began in the Dark Brotherhood. Transferred to Clan Arcona Korvyn excelled at his studies and was soon put in one leadership role after another Including Consul to Clan Arcona and eventually Krath High Priest.
| |
| | |
| Korvyn was also an agent for the Nightstalkers during this time taking on many dangerous Covert operations. Most of these Missions involved the assassination of political enemies of the Emperor’s Hammer. Korvyn met up with his Mentor Dante on a remote desert planet and was informed that the Nightstalkers and all those affiliated with them had been branded as traitors to the Emperor’s Hammer. However, one member still needed to be rescued and Korvyn volunteered himself for the distraction that would make it possible, though it would cost him dearly.
| |
| Arriving back to Coronada, homeworld of Clan Arcona, Korvyn was summoned to the great hall on Eos. After a make-believe trial, Korvyn was branded a traitor by the Emperor's Hammer, and his force powers were stripped. It was during this time that the last of the Operatives made his escape unnoticed. Korvyn fled the System in his personal ship and was hounded by Assassins for Months to come.
| |
| | |
| | |
| === Finding Darkness ===
| |
| Korvyn reached out to his former Krath High Priest Troutrooper in his preparations for leaving the Emperor's Hammer and learned of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. Believing that the enemy of his Enemy was his ally Korvyn joined up.
| |
| He was stationed in Clan Tarentum during the Incursion of the Vong but soon after grew tired of their self-segregation. He was eventually transferred into [[House Dorimad Sol]] of Clan Scholae Palatinae. Here he has been reunited with many of the former Mentors and teachers that had been expelled from the Emperor's Hammer as well.
| |
| | |
| === Power of the Dark Side ===
| |
| ==== Serving House Dorimad Sol ====
| |
| Korvyn's service to House Dorimad Sol began almost immediately. It had been known for some time that a new Criminal Organization had become active on Caina. With his background in Infiltration and assassination, Korvyn was selected by the House summit to Take out this new group. It was during this time that Korvyn began a dangerous game that almost ended everything he had worked so hard to gain.
| |
| Starting the mission Korvyn spent a lot of his time in the nearly destroyed city of Cervus. The Vong attack here had been nothing short of brutal. the city had nearly been leveled and the people had lost everything. That made it fertile ground for recruitment into a criminal life full of the promise of easy money. He made no efforts to hide his power in the force. Instead, he drank plentifully and accrued some very large gambling debts. Eventually, he got what he had been looking for. He owed more money than anyone thought he could pay and owed it to the people he was seeking out.
| |
| His service to the organization began like most in exchange for relief of a part of his gambling debts he would supply information about patrol times and such. This gave the organization a great deal of room to grow and gave Korvyn more chances to earn their trust.
| |
| During this time he met a young waitress named Anarya Elvendar. Korvyn was taken with her instantly. After many conversations, he found that like him she had a rough life early on. he also saw the raw untapped power of the force in her. Eventually, the two took their relationship a step further.
| |
| | |
| ==== Banshee Brigade ====
| |
| | |
| In 28 aby Korvyn was approached by Thran Occasus to lead the Banshee Brigade. It was a great honor but still, Korvyn sought direction through the force. After many days of meditation, Korvyn returned to the House Summit and accepted the privilege of reforming and leading the brigade. It was also at this time that Korvyn accepted the invitation to become the apprentice of Cethgus Incendia. The two worked side by side and brought about great changes to the battle teams in House Dorimad Sol.
| |
| These two events coupled with his newly gained trust in the Criminal group strengthened his ability to manipulate things to his advantage. However, his new responsibilities kept him away from his love for months at a time. He hated that fact but knew his service to his clan had to come before everything else. Soon though the most dangerous part of his life as a double agent would be thrust upon him.
| |
|
| |
|
| | His force sensitivity was discovered here and he was sent to the Shadow academy for formal training. Strong in both the force and physical strength he excelled in his training but became disillusioned with the politics of the academy and brotherhood as a whole, believing his talents could be used in more profitable endeavors, he eventually fled the academy for a life of a mercenary. |
|
| |
|
| ==== Rollmaster ==== | | === Clan Vizsla === |
|
| |
|
| Eventually, the force pulled Korvyn in another direction. It spoke in whispers that he had not felt in years and Korvyn knew it was time to get back to his roots in the Force. He first accepted the position of Rollmaster within the house. This afforded him the ability to both observe and guide the new recruits coming in, but also to study the force more. His new office soon began to look more like a library than an office. with rows of shelves, Holovids, and even Ancient Sith art. He had once again returned to his Krath roots and was energized once again.
| | There was no shortage of mercenary groups that wanted a Lasat with a lightsaber in the galaxy and it seems Korvis worked for most of them over the next few years. Eventually saving up to purchase his own ship he struck out on his own finally attaining the freedom he desired and the means to make credits for himself. |
| It also afforded him access to information that made him now indispensable to his other life. No longer could they hold his gambling debts over him. He now had power prestige and wealth. The group however learned of his relationship with Anarya Elvendar. Threatening to end her life Korvyn kept at his double life. Eventually coming up with a dangerous plan to both get his love out from under their threatening gaze and prove to them that he was completely under their control.
| |
| In an act of what could only be called a Krath mentality, Korvyn began flirting with one of his House Mates, Robin Hawk. The two had been friends for some time and she was the natural choice for this phase of the plan. It was hard to tell Anarya of his affair and the subsequent breakup was rough on him. Many of the underlings paid dearly for his pain.
| |
|
| |
|
| ==== Sacrifice and Honor ====
| | However, working alone also brought about another challenge. He lacked the ability to cover his own self on more dangerous and lucrative missions. Though his copilot and friend, the Trandoshan Tranok was a capable fighter and pilot the two of them were simply not enough. After several small jobs for the Saxon Military Group working out of Zsoldos, Korvis eventually accepted a permanent position with the private military group to go after more credits. |
|
| |
|
| Eventually, duty called for him to once again make a great Sacrifice for his House. In the waning hours of the night, Angelo Dante would once again call on Korvyn to take on a dangerous and secret mission. Renouncing his title as Rollmaster Korvyn left abruptly not to be seen or heard from for a long time. But not before he shared his secret with Robin Hawk. She didn't take it well and Korvyn left the meeting with many bruises and a few broken ribs. Which he used to his advantage in convincing his new masters that he had left the House to serve only them.
| |
| Dante and Korvyn laid out a course of events that would serve House Dorimad Sol and rid them of the unwanted intrusion of their planet. Korvyn started leading attacks on troops from House Dorimad Sol. Of course, these troops and Jedi he was killing had been those considered to weak and inferior to continue their training. It trimmed the fat from the house and led to Korvyn gaining access to the highest members of the operation he had infiltrated. Now his goal was almost achieved and he made preparations for his return to his life in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood.
| |
| One thing he had not planned however was that Anarya would give birth to a daughter. He knew instantly that it was his, the connection in the force was unmistakable. He Told Anarya everything that had happened and why he was forced to do the things that he did. he also informed her of her power in the force and that with the training she too could become a dark Jedi as he was. However, their daughter would need to be hidden away somewhere safe. It was a hard decision for her but eventually, she agreed to begin her training.
| |
| With that taken care of Korvyn set his sights on finishing all that he had set out too. Convincing the leaders of the organization that they needed to attack the Dark Jedi in a full-frontal attack they gathered every man they could. Once the attack force had been assembled Korvyn executed his final part of the plan. The leaders fell beneath the onslaught of Force and Saber that unleashed upon them. The so-called army they assembled were destroyed as the ice caves they used as a staging ground were bombarded by the Star destroyers and Imperial Bombers that had been sent by Angelo Dante
| |
| With his mission successfully completed Korvyn returned to Castle Dorimad Sol with his new Wife. There her training would begin and though he received no accolades for his mission he had the Honor of Knowing that once again His House had depended on him and he had brought them a victory no matter how secret it was. He also took the name of his wife as his last name. He had never really known his and it seemed only fitting that the two share hers.

|
| | == Physical Description == |
| | Korvis has a light purple appearance, green eyes, and a strong jawline with a well-trimmed beard of dark purple hair kept into two short braids. His hair is a dark purple to match his beard. It is normally kept pulled back into a braid that reaches his shoulders. He is just above average height for a Lasat and is powerfully built with noticeable muscles and little body fat giving him a ripped bodybuilder appearance. |
|
| |
|
| ==== Clan Vizsla ====
| | His attire is generally armored, but not too heavy. He wears robes over the armor and a hood. Though next to impossible to conceal himself due to his size he is able to mitigate the threat he poses. His Lightsaber is kept in the small of his back when not active to hide it from prying eyes. |
| As he tired of the politics and rote military services to the clans Korvyn left the Brotherhood and became a sought after Assassin. Often he hid his force abilities and instead concentrated on his sniper training using the more antiquated slugthrowers as his weapon of choice. He specialized in Jedi and Force-sensitives with at least some training. The best way to kill a Force user had always been to be one yourself.
| |
|
| |
|
| Korvyn was killed by collective forces in the invasion of Eos City.

| | === Tranok === |
| | The Trandoshan copilot and partner of Korvis, Tranok is capable and loyal. His devotion to The Scorekeeper however is borderline obsessive. Korvis and Tranok work well together even though the Trandoshan prefers to blast people out of the sky rather than shoot them with a blaster. Tranok is a much better mechanic than Korvis and tends to do most of the maintenance on Korvis ship. |

More recently he has taken to wearing his old Shadowstalker armor. While it offered little more protection than standard storm commando armor he liked the looks of it a lot better.
