The Xizor Transport Systems XQ4 Platform was a heavy duty platform that serves as a stationary garrison and depot in orbit of Yridia II. Constructed during the Quaestorship of Wil Striker, the Aegis was the home base for all of Tarentum's ships, acting as a re-supply depot and as a stopping point for passing ships in Clan Tarentum's domain.
The Aegis was the centerpiece of Tarentum Home Guard and was under the command of the Governor-General, Rekio Corsair Tarentae. It was destroyed in 32 ABY when a Hunter piloting the MC80 Renegade attacked the platform during a confrontation with the ISDII Magnus Kaerner.
