| Located far from any normal galactic map, the road to the cluster of stars that holds Autoch Prime and her system is only accessibly by a complicated and seemingly random sequence of hyperspace jumps, known only to a few dozen people. Difficult to get to, and easily lost along the way, Autoch Prime is the seat of the Autochthonian Empire, a system-wide military power that has been able to avoid every alien conflict for the past ten thousand years.

| Considered to be a myth or an old smuggler's tale, Autochthonia is talked about as if it were a legendary place, rich and dangerous, and that spacers that have seen it have never returned. These rumors are reinforced by the Autochthonian laws regarding smugglers and pirates, which are almost draconian compared to the rest of the galaxy. Also helping to contribute to their near-mythical status is the fact that Autochthian technology uses design elements totally distinct from most other societies. Form and function are both considered heavily in this craftsman-driven culture, and all but the most basic pieces of equipment are made by hand.

| Commanded by a constitutional Monarchy with the Darrow line on the throne, the Autochthonian Empire had colonized the whole of their system before imperialistically claiming the neighboring systems. With fifteen planets under their command, the resources available to them are not insubstantial. Closed off from the rest of the Galaxy, their only known alliance is that with [[Kyataru]] and their ruling [[Keibatsu]] bloodline. Trade with the Kyatarans is only occasional, considering the difficulty of transport, but is profitable for both parties. The unorthodox technologies fetch a high price in the galactic market, collectors vying for a chance to own the rare blaster or droid, and even more rare ships.

| There are several theories as to the first settlers on Autoch Prime, the most prevalent being a settler transport becoming wildly lost due to a malfunctioning hyperdrive and landing on the closest suitable planet. Archaeological digs have found parts of an ancient transport ship that would corroborate that theory, but there was a long period of reversion from technology that caused most of the history to be lost before a thousand years ago or so. Another competing theory is that this was the original homeworld for the species, and the explorers from Autoch Prime actually settled the rest of the galaxy. This theory is widely regarded as nationalistic and biased. | | Considered to be a myth or an old smuggler's tale, Autochthonia is talked about as if it were a legendary place, rich and dangerous, and that spacers that have seen it have never returned. | | Autoch Prime is varied climate wise, with cooler temperatures at the poles and a warmer equator. The binary star system makes for longer daylight hours, with 31 hours of light on average for every 6 hours of darkness. The large planet spins slowly, with a 37 hour rotation. The moon Lathecron is terrestrial and colonized, home to 3 billion Autochthonians. |
