Tytus O'Baieron is the second son of a Duke, born on the planet Duro. A Baron in his own right, though he rarely uses the title.

Character History

Early Life

He had a life of privilege and attended private school before being accepted to a prestigious military university on Duro. Unfortunately, Tytus was sent down from the latter after another officer cadet allowed him to take the blame for a prank that had resulted in the serious injury of a third cadet. Tytus obeyed an honor code among the cadets by not revealing the true identity of the culprit at the cost of being rejected himself for an officer's commission. Unable to face his father, he enlisted into the ranks of the Imperial Academy flying gunships with the SPEC OPS Air Cav units. When not on combat missions, Tytus continued his education graduating with honors from the Skystrike Flight Academy and The Royal Academy.

Tytus has three brothers. The eldest brother Zylos, a lawyer. Younger brother Rezin, entered into the clergy. The youngest, Oloon, followed in his fathers footsteps within the monarchy of Duro.

Serving for over two decades in the Air Cav, Tytus had a natural higher aptitude of flying over his fellow pilots. Tytus carried the discipline of his military background into his civilian life. He retired at the highest enlisted rank of sergeant major. Then went on to serve in the Imperial Intelligence for several years.

Tytus is well versed in both armed and unarmed combat techniques. He expresses fondness for Imperial weaponry such as the LAAT/le Air Cav gunships and the E11s sniper rifles. A connoisseur of firearms, Tytus has amassed quite the collection of firearms over the years. The Duros carries two custom BlasTech DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistols holstered at his sides. Along with a shoulder holstered .48-caliber Enforcer Pistol. Besides being quick on the draw, the Sergeant Major is an accomplished sniper. When a ranged advantage is needed, he likes to use his MK "Assassin Edition" Sniper Rifle.

In regard to his personal life, Tytus was once nearly engaged to be married; only to find his finance and her tribe slaughtered by mercenaries. He described her as being the Jewel of Duro.

Tytus spent the next several years hunting down the mercs who killed his bride-to-be. As he narrowed in on his targets he was ambushed in Old Ord Mantell City and left for dead. DarkHawk Sadow happened to be on assignment there as well and came upon the grizzly scene. The Shaevalian extracted Tytus out of harm's way and made sure he was nursed back to health. Once recovered Tytus swore a life debt to the Shaevalian and entered service with the Inquisitorious and Clan Naga Sadow.

Now a partner in crime to the Proconsul, Tytus pilots the Tã’ron assisting Naga Sadow and DarkHawk on assigned missions. When not on assignment the Sergeant Major likes to shadow CNS Fleet Admiral, Moff Araic Simonetti. The Sergeant Major holds the Moff in great regards especially in his piloting abilities. Not to mention he gets to improve his piloting skills from a plethora of ships within the CNS Warhost.

After years of service as a SPECOPS pilot, Ty has more than earned his wings—and the hard-won title of “Ace.” While he's capable of flying just about any ship with ease, nothing feels more natural to him than piloting DarkHawk’s Sith Fury Interceptor. He flies it like it’s an extension of himself—more TIE Fighter than starship in his hands.

Tytus is the very embodiment of a gentleman’s gentleman. Refined, composed, and unfailingly proper—his aristocratic roots run deep. But don’t be deceived by the polished exterior. Beneath the tailored coats and lofty diction lies a stone-cold killing machine.

Often described as the personification of “the pomposity, elitism, and stuffiness of the Old Guard—both literally and figuratively,” Tytus carries himself like he’s the only sane man in a galaxy full of lunatics. And, truth be told, he rarely questions that assumption.

Yet somehow, amid the chaos, he’s forged a bond with DarkHawk and Ellee. Their friendship is strong—if not constantly tested by banter, clashing personalities, and the occasional ego-fueled skirmish.

The Sergeant Major is known for his tendency to ramble when someone asks him a question. He usually manages to relate it to a story from his service time, but on occasion relates to other events. DarkHawk recants one such conversation gone awry when Tytus described how he refused a standing order to fire on refugees trying to reach asylum. When asked how he could disobey, Tytus replied, "I was obeying a higher law that does not permit me to shoot unarmed refugees looking for a home.”

Physical Description

Tytus O’Baieron cuts an imposing figure for a Duros—tall, lean, and battle-hardened. Standing at six feet and weighing in at 198 pounds, he carries the unmistakable build of a fighter pilot: broad-shouldered, square-jawed, and fit from years of high-G maneuvers and close combat. His skin is an uncommon shade of dark turquoise, offset by piercing crimson eyes that burn with intensity. Like all of his species, Tytus has a long, nose-less face and a thin-lipped mouth, features that only sharpen his already commanding presence.

His body bears the story of his battles. Scars—some thick, others faint—trace across his skin in striking magenta, a vivid contrast against his turquoise flesh. One in particular, nearly 20 centimeters long, runs along the left side of his skull. Though often concealed, it remains faintly visible beneath his headwear. Alongside these scars, Tytus wears several tattoos commemorating his service as a pilot and operator in the Imperial Special Operations and Air Cavalry divisions—each mark a personal chapter in his storied career.

His custom flight suit is a seamless fusion of tradition and tactical function—a general officer’s uniform merged with the design of a front-line pilot’s gear. Atop his head sits the iconic AirCav hat, adorned with yellow enlisted pilot cords and the bold yellow-and-black emblem of the 1st Battalion, 1st Regiment: the Sky Raiders. Even his baronial administrator’s cape echoes the colors of his former unit, a tribute to his roots and a reminder of the skybound warriors he once flew beside.
