He learned how to shoot a blaster under the watchful eyes of his father, his father's younger brother Jifo, and Jifo's wife, Ruusaan. He learned to treat weapons as his best friend, and often went to sleep with a blaster in his arms. By the age of three, he could reliably hit a target, and even clean, reload, and take care of his own gun. |

| | When Haro was just barely four years old, his brother, Jhefi, was born. Haro soon started trying to be a good example for his little brother: using the fresher on his own, playing with Jhefi, and even cleaning (or attempting to clean) his plate. He also tried to teach Jhefi what he had learned, and was sometimes found either showing his brother how well he could shoot, or trying to teach him how. |
| | |
| | At six, Haro started training with explosives, and he almost killed his brother. After his first lesson, he wanted to tell Jhefi about the explosion, but, unsure how to describe it, he decided to take matters (and a spare thermal detonator) into his own hands. He brought Jhefi to the edge of the city, and showed his brother the stolen grenade. Jhefi watched, fascinated, as Haro slid back the cover, pressed the button, and promptly forgot what to do next. He panicked for a couple of seconds, but then, by instinct more than anything, he threw the grenade as far away from himself as he could. Luckily, his adrenaline-fueled throw was enough to get them both out of the blast radius. |
| | |
| | The explosion echoed through the whole city, and his parents, as well as several other curious people, came running. They scolded him terribly, and some of the other Mandalorians took him to court. He was almost exiled, until his parents argued that he was too young to know better, and anyways, no one was seriously injured. Nevertheless, he was grounded from training for a month. Jhefi, however, was fascinated by the explosion, and later tried to sneak into the armory multiple times to "borrow" some detonators. |
| | |
| | The trauma awoke something inside of Haro, and later that year, he began to show signs that he had the gift of the Force, unknowingly levitating small objects around him when he was angry, and seeming to have unnaturally quick reflexes. |

His parents reported that he came home one day with a bloody nose and his right arm hanging limp at his side. They took him to the medcenter, where they found that his arm was broken, as well as his nose. The medics' best explanation was that he had fallen from somewhere high up, but they couldn't be sure. He has since healed, but his nose is slightly crooked as a result. |

Character History
Early Life
Haro Zylrun was born on Mandalore in 20 ABY, in a community working to rebuild the capital city, Sundari.
Before Haro could even walk, he started his training.
He started learning martial arts and knife fighting on his third birthday, with his father and uncle teaching him the basics of Mandalorian Core.
When Haro was just barely four years old, his brother, Jhefi, was born. Haro soon started trying to be a good example for his little brother: using the fresher on his own, playing with Jhefi, and even cleaning (or attempting to clean) his plate.
