Robert Guilford is a young prodigy. He was promoted to Commander at the age of 18 in 34 ABY, and spent four years stationed with the ISDII Eye of the Abyss II in command of Bombard Squadron. In 38 ABY, with the addition of the NSD Encanis to the AEF, he was moved from the DDF and promoted to Wing Commander of the newly-created AEF Wing IV.
