The '''Horizons plague''' was a disease created by Lysu Thren, a [[starwars:Je'daii|Je'daii]] follower of the [[starwars:Dark side of the Force|Bogan]]. One of the few Bogan disciples to survive the [[starwars:Force Wars|Force Wars]] on [[starwars:Tython|Tython]], Thren was sentenced to exile on the moon [[starwars:Bogan (moon)|Bogan]] to ponder the [[starwars:Light side of the Force|Ashla]]. Escaping from Tython and eventually the [[starwars:Tython system|system]], Thren eventually settled on [[starwars:Drongar|Drongar]]. There he would work to create a plague that would destroy [[starwars:Force-sensitive|Force users]] completely.


The plague itself was an extremely virulent example of Bogan magics, predating even the most ancient [[Sith Alchemy]] by thousands of years. Specifically targeting wielders of the [[starwars:The Force|Force]], the plague initially greatly increased Force ability before stripping it from its victims and leaving them to die. Thren was never able to deploy his weapon against the [[starwars:Jedi|Jedi]], dying before he saw the chance to use it. Throughout the millennia, it would remain unknown to the rest of the galaxy at large save for a chance encounter by explorers from the [[starwars:Sith Empire|Sith Empire]]. It would eventually be re-discovered by [[Zoraan|Archibald Zoraan]] and used by the former [[Grand Master]] against the [[Dark Jedi Brotherhood]].

Remembering very little about her childhood's younger years, the first memories that Cassandra can recall were when she was discovered by a group of Mandalorian warriors who were passing through an area that had been ravaged by an Imperial Remnant group. They had found her with to the body of a woman, assumed to be her mother. At the time, according to them, she was no more than six years old.

November 2024 - Cassandra Oriana Tyris

Cassandra Oriana Tyris is the Supreme Chancellor of the Taldryan Republic, and a former Senator for the city of Caleria on the Republic capital world of Kasiya. She is the second to hold this station, and often times is referred to by the title given to her because of that: Lady Second. She is also a member of the Taldrya, having been recently inducted into their roll after he constant and selfless devotion to the Republic.

Remembering very little about her childhood's younger years, the first memories that Cassandra can recall were when she was discovered by a group of Mandalorian warriors who were passing through an area that had been ravaged by an Imperial Remnant group. They had found her with to the body of a woman, assumed to be her mother. At the time, according to them, she was no more than six years old.
