Character History

The Massacre of Nebit's Clan

Nebit's Clan was the clan responsible for selling the droids C3PO and R2-D2 to the Skywalker family. This is what has attained most of the clan's historical notice. Before this however, Nebit's clan was responsible for scanning the Dune Seas, and many other of Tatooine's most dangerous areas in search for scrap metals, droids, and anything else that would bring credits. The clan its self was older than history can recall, and at the time of its extermination by the Imperial Stormtrooper Mod Terrik and his Zeta Squadron. By luck of the force, or just by pure luck Chiz Ezna was not present for the massacre. 13 at the time, Chiz had yet to earn the right to serve full duties upon the Sandcrawler, thus he was sent to negotiate trade of some moisture farming equipment with Jawa's of the B'ay Tribe. It was five days later that Chiz returned to find his village still vacant. After an additional three day journey the young Jawa found the remains of his clan burned in a pile, sandcrawler ruined, and no signs of any other clansmen. Being the last member of Nebit's Clan, or so he thought, he performed the burial rituals of his clan, stating the motto "Sand stays, everything else changes.."

This was a say day for Chiz, not only because he had lost his entire clan but also because he knew he was not going to be able to survive. No clan would accept a Jawa of his age, there would be far to much relearning to take in, and plus he was not to eager to restart at the bottom. Chiz then decided to take a 10 day 'Amaw Ni'Jagwa'. A holy pilgrimage for Jawas that feel they have lost themselves. He had been born and raised in the Dune Sea, so he was quite adapt to and aware of all its dangers. Little did he know his pilgrimage would end up revealing to him his true fate in the galaxy. The journey had gone from being ten days to nearly twenty six. Chiz had run low on food and as much as he had hated it, he was lost. He had laid in the sand, awaiting death to take him and it would have had it not been for the saving hands of former Nebit's Clan High Priestess Kea Jik'kay. She her self had been following Chiz's footsteps trying to catch up with him, finally catching up to him she took him in to a secret underground village that the clan had built nearly 2000 years prior, located in one of the few stable soils on Tatooine.

After awakening and feeling healthy as ever Chiz was overwhelmed to see the face of his High Priestess. She placed her hand on his shoulder, a sign of love in the Jawa society, and told him "Young one, you will carry on a fate that is granted to male Jawa of our clan once every 400 years. You are to become a Jedi, and I shall be teaching you. We begin soon, so I suggest you prepare yourself for the riggers ahead." It was a lot for him to take in at once, but Chiz did not back down, and his journey as a Jedi began...
