The Taldryan Army is one of two major branches of the Taldryan Military. Like its naval counterpart, it is currently tasked with the preservation and security of Taldryan.

Organization
Assault Regiment
The battalions of Taldryan’s 1st (Assault) Regiment operated independently of the main body of the Taldryan Army.
- The air assault troops of the 9th “Derriphan” and 10th “Typhojem” Battalions acted as pathfinders, deploying from LAAT/i infantry transports escorted by TIE/sk atmospheric fighters to capture beachheads through which other Taldryan Army formations could deploy.
- The 11th Walker Assault Battalion used several platoons of AT-ATs to lead armoured spearheads, supported by armoured elements of the Combined Arms Regiments.
- The 12th Shock Battalion was composed of AT-M6 heavy artillery walkers, escorted by AT-AT and AT-ST platoons. Rather than being deployed with the rest of 1st Regiment, the 12th Battalion was sent to crack enemy fortifications across the entire line of battle.
Combined Arms Regiment
After the reforms of 37-38 ABY, combined arms regiments made up the backbone of the Taldryan Army. These regiments were composed of:
- Two infantry battalions, each containing three line companies and one assault company;
- one artillery battalion, consisting of three batteries of AV-7 artillery cannons and a Special Missions Company tasked as forward observers; and
- one armoured battalion, containing a squadron (company) of TX-225 GAVw combat assault tanks, a squadron of TIE/sk atmospheric fighters, a scout company, and a transport company equipped with HAVw A6 Juggernauts escorted by AT-STs.
During combat engagements, each regiment’s infantry battalions would ride onto the field in the transport company’s Juggernauts. The Juggernauts and tank squadron would advance under cover of artillery barrages, directed by the fire control companies against targets provided by the scout company, and supplemented with close air support from the TIE/sk squadron. If necessary, the armoured spearhead could be augmented with elements of the 11th Walker and 12th Shock Battalions to punch through reinforced enemy lines.
Gendarmerie Regiment
Though technically a component of the Taldryan Legion, the Gendarmerie Regiment rarely deployed on the front lines of battle. Instead, the gendarmes were military police units that stood in for civilian police in all Taldryan-controlled territories. In wartime, the Gendarmerie could be deployed to Taldryan’s operating bases as a security force.
