The Du'san Boundary is a fierce network of ion and atmospheric storms created by the emanations of the Dark Star, and Antei's only source of light, Sepulveda. The Boundary encompasses the entire equator of Antei, and represents the duality of this strange planet. The sheer power of these storms inhibits all sea and air travel between the two major continents of Antei. A narrow isthmus called the Jadan Pass is the only navigatible land route between the two regions.
