Just a comment on this, as it appears a bit confusing.  I understand I'm not in HOU, but then stuff like this should probably be clear for anyone.  It looks like this is based on the [[Promotion Guidelines]], but not 100%.  There are certain things missing, or it appears that it has more "mandatory" things, versus a guideline. Just wondering if this has some significance outside of the fictional aspect?  Otherwise it's just confusing to have two different lists for promotion.--[[User:Halcyon|Halcyon]] 11:29, 30 January 2014 (MST)

Confusion

Just a comment on this, as it appears a bit confusing. I understand I'm not in HOU, but then stuff like this should probably be clear for anyone. It looks like this is based on the Promotion Guidelines, but not 100%. There are certain things missing, or it appears that it has more "mandatory" things, versus a guideline. Just wondering if this has some significance outside of the fictional aspect? Otherwise it's just confusing to have two different lists for promotion.--Halcyon 11:29, 30 January 2014 (MST)

It looks like "flavoured" journeyman check-boxes... I too am confused as to the need for it. It's not like the MAA policy is biased to the Dark Side.

It's also an incomplete list, and what happens when the promotion guidelines are update? This becomes even less relevant. --Solari (talk) 13:13, 30 January 2014 (MST)

  • It also appears to be "hard rules" rather than the official guidelines, which are of course guidelines, meaning there are options and different ways to be promoted. I also don't think it has all of the options that the official guidelines have.--Halcyon 14:06, 30 January 2014 (MST)

  • Bored one weekend and looked at the Promotion Guidelines, more of a Play Project but in the process of creating a "Jedi Trials" for HOU. More or less a fictional guideline when it is finished. The Book itself will still remain. --Revak 22:49, 23 February 2014 (MST)
